We rented a raft with gear to run the Deschutes and Dave-o did an amazing job making sure we were fully equipped. We actually took items off of the raft when they found out it was just two of us. We would highly recommend the Outfitter for renting a raft and or gear. Highly personable, flexible with our pick up time and the raft and gear were in great shape.

We had an amazing full day trip down the Dechutes, with Jodi as our fun, safe and knowledgeable guide. Could not have had a better experience! The company is organized and top rate. Communication leading up to they rip was easy; the equipment was new; they provided us with helmets, which the other companies didn’t appear to do. Our lunch was great, and they went over the top to accommodate both my vegan husband and another gluten-free guest. Really nice! But best of all was the rafting, which was awesome and so beautiful. We went through ~ 15 Class 2/3 rapids, and one pretty terrifying but totally thrilling Class 4. Jodi skillfully lead us through them all, with deep knowledge and good humor. Such a great day for my 14- and 16-year olds and us!

Incredible experience with a skillful river guide on the beautiful Deschutes River!
Really appreciate this team looking out for the safety of their guests with their helmet mandate and detailed safety briefing.

Thank you to Tristan and Justin and Carly (and our photographer too!)- we had an amazing day, so much fun, so exciting, and we were so well taken care of! Great job with the food, fun, and safety. A special thank you to Tristan (our captain) for his laughter, and giving us an adventure on the water, and for answering our 85 questions during the course of the day, always seemed happy to do so. What a terrific day.

Tristan was an excellent raft guide! We had a blast rafting on the Deschutes River! Definately take the opportunity to "ride the bull!"

Guides were experienced and entertaining. Great time on the river! I would go again. Guides allowed you to try new things if you were adventurous or just stay in the raft.

This was a first time ever river rafting for me. We had Tristan as a tour guide, he was excellent! (the other 2 that day we great as well). He kept us entertained while handling the raft with great precision. I felt very safe. Would live to do it again. I will definitely recommend and return for another trip.

Our guide was Drayson and even though this was his first year as a guide he was very knowledgeable and professional. I have been down this portion of the Deschutes many times and he was one of the excellent at explaining what the people in the boat need to do.

I just left a review on google detailing how AWESOME our experience was-most especially due to our guide, Kirk. Kirk and his positive energy and skill on the water really gave us the best of everything. Kirk knows his history, the river and how to read people. Our son is autistic and Kirk made sure Connor had a great time! Can't wait to go back!

I have gone out with this company at least 4 times. It has become a family adventure with my adult children and grand children. I would recommend High Dessert Rafting.
More than just a Great day on the river. Marcus our guide was Awesome. Had a group of friends from New Zealand and we all enjoyed it. Great Memories. Thanks HDRO
