Not much in the way of walking. The park has two entrances. We have disc golfed here a few times but not on our top of choices to play at. The trees are huge but sparse.

This is a great park to hold family gatherings and picnics. Kids can run and play while food is being prepared. Lots of picnic tables.

The park is off the beaten path of McMinnville and parking is limited. There are a few BBQ areas but some nice walking paths through the park. The grassy area was soggy and muddy when we visited (due to recent snow/rain).

This park has been here for a long time, and has a little of everything in it. There are lots of places to have a BBQ in the furnished pits, playgrounds, covered picnic tables able to hold full crowds, and a frizbee golf course. There is a beautiful walking, paved, trail going all thru the park. Nice place!

Nice setup for disc golf. Not to long and a variety of holes including open field and trees. Only 12 holes but still a great way to start the morning with some exercise.

Wortman park is a nice place to take your kids with two playgrounds and a frisbee golf course. There are homeless people around but have never had any issues.

This place is wonderful for get togethers or smaller family outings. Lots of space for fun and games. Nice set ups for large group gatherings. Trees, trees and more trees. Wonderful play areas for kids. Parking on several sides.

The tables are up the bathrooms are locked you can go for a walk with your dog on a paved walkway. But for right now the season has not started and it is really mushy. Great Playground also really mushy.

One of the best parks in town for little ones.. our kids have been going there since they could walk.. thier 5 now.. so you can tell we enjoy it there.. there's 2 different play structures.. swings.. and benches for eating... unusually pretty clean.. towards summer their can be a decent amount of homeless sleeping around here.. but never had problems with them.. they also have frisbee golf..

Wortman Park is a well-established, older and large city park that's accessible from both Lafayette Ave and McDaniel Street, situated in between them. The Lafayette side is where the annual Turkeyrama barbecue takes place every July, with bands playing and generous turkey meals served while they last. There are playgrounds, picnic benches, and plenty of parking. The McDaniel side has more open spaces, biking/walking trails, and additional picnic benches. The Senior Center is also located there, as is a smaller parking lot and lots of street parking. Wortman park won't wow anyone, but it is a serviceable, pleasant, well-maintained park that preserves the best of mid-20th Century small town planning in the northern core of a city that has grown up all around it.
