Enjoyed winetasting here with Jillian who provided us with a wonderful background of the Vineyard. our flight listing included a special welcome to our party. This was a great touch. We were celebrating a special birthday and were treated like royalty.

This was the first stop on our tour for wine tasting for the day. I wished it was our last because I wanted to savor it for a longer period of time. Excellent pinot niors! We tasted a chardonnay that surprised us that was very good too. This is rustic small vineyard specializing in small batch wine production.

This is a neat place as it is right on the farm with the vineyard back behind the farm. The wine is good but we thought it was overpriced for what you get.

Our visit to Beaux Freres was great. We were greeted with personalized menus and a congenial, knowledgeable host. You can tell there is a passion for what they do. Their story is presented in an interesting way with great detail about the area. Wines were fabulous, though very pricey! We enjoyed meeting the pigs at the conclusion of our visit. My daughter was thrilled she had something to feed them in the car. :)

The wines were fantastic! I loved the experience with Lydia, my hostess for the tasting. It's very low key and relaxed, which was so enjoyable. I loved all of the history that is visible throughout the tasting room. All of the winemaking processes (I believe) take place in that building. Lydia was so very welcoming and friendly and so informative. I felt like I made a new friend while I was enjoying the wines, she was so hospitable. There is absolutely no pressure to purchase wine - I happened to choose a bottle that is only available at the winery, because they are not widely available. I would highly recommend a tasting at Beaux Freres. It was awesome!

We visited six wineries during this most recent visit to the valley. Beaux Freres came in second for us, but wow what a fantastic experience at Beaux Freres.

I will admit I hesitantly added Beaux Freres to our itinerary because during our last visit we went to Archer Summit. Their wines were expensive and highly recommended. The experience was pretentious, snobby and exclusive. Beaux Freres pricing is on the high end compared to most wineries, but they are the polar opposite of Archer.
You will not find a beautiful tasting room. You will not find well dressed employees pouring your flight. Instead, you will be in a barn surrounded by four generations of vintners that drive 1980's beat up Datson trucks. Their dogs have free run of the place. Their little kids may be running about while the parents work.
We happened to visit on the last day of harvest which they celebrate with Harvest Lunch for every employee. All four generations of owners were present. They were down to earth hardworking people. They talked to us. You can feel the pride coming off them and all their employees.
Their wines are excellent. They are some of the best we had all week. They take the extra time to do every step right. I highly recommend this to everyone. You can only visit through reservations, and they are often booked up. You can drop in unannounced to buy individual bottles and cases, but you cannot try the wine without a reservation.

Wow! We can’t say enough good things about this beautiful winery. The wine was amazing. We had one Chardonnay and 3 Pinot noirs. All fantastic. Yvette, was so knowledgeable and so fun! We joked that we wanted to be her best friend by the end of it. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything or join the membership, however after tasting the wines we decided to become a wine club member anyway. Highly recommend! And ask for Yvette if you can.

We toured Willamette valley for 3 days and a total of 10 wineries. At each winery we asked the staff where they would go and over half had Beaux Freres in their top 3.
We called on our last day and asked politely if we could get in because they came so highly recommended by their peers and even though they were booked solid for Saturday and Sunday, they fit us in.
The tasting did not disappoint!
The wine and staff are second to none and we had a great experinece.
Three things to note for the unidated:
1. This wine is awesome and a higher price tag (worth it) than most vineyards.
2. The hogs on the property are the largest pigs on the planet
3. If you are looking for opulence and an amazing tasting room, and picturesque view, this is not the place for you. If you want some of the best wine in the valley, awesome staff, gigantic pigs, and a fun time.... his is the place for you!

What a great visit we had at Beaux Freres. We ended up joining their wine club and were glad we did. The sommelier was outstanding and even took us on a tour of the vineyard. Fantastic wines, great ambiance and fun day!

Livia and her team were awesome, down to earth and personable. The wine was great as well as the low key setting. As an Oregonian, this has been one of my favorite vineyards to visit. Thank you!!
