This is a neat place to taste wine. Even though it is in town so no views of the vineyard hills, the tasting room is comfortable with great decor. The staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The wine is also good.

We had several nice wines here. Our host Neil was informative and knowledgeable. This was a nice ,comfortable place to taste wine.

Within walking distance of a number of restaurants and other tasting rooms. Nice to spend time a tasting room following the "hang out playing games in wineries trend." Staff was knowledgeable and wines were good.

First tasting of our 4 night stay in Williamette Valley. Great location, very accommodating staff, and very nice wine. Our server, Kaylee, was awesome.
Went back several days later for live music and a glass of wine. Loved it!

My wife, son and I wanted something special to do together and this was perfect. Dave was our guide and he was knowledgeable and fun. We were there for quite some time, learned a ton about wine making and the regions history. We also walked out with a half dozen bottles of amazing wine (join the club!) and a day we will always remember.

Nice place to stop. Casual and friendly staff. We bought a couple of their best bottles but weren’t crazy about the others. Pick up some of the literature about the Valley so you can figure out where to go next. There are lots of tasting rooms off of 99W.

The industrial style tasting room is conveniently located in town and has its own parking lot. What set this experience apart from others was the level of attention we were given by our server. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We also purchased here.

We recently visited Chehalem Tasting Room in downtown Newberg. This was the first tasting where we have enjoyed all of their wines. Great selection of unique pinor noirs. Michelle and Elaine were absolutely lovely and knowledgeable about each of the wines and the Willamette Valley in general. Additionally, the tasting was very family friendly. Only wish we were able to catch the Friday night live music! We certainly would visit the tasting room again.

We had a reservation at the winery for the Library Wine Tasting which included a meat and cheese board. While the tasting room in town is very nice, it was fun to taste the wines at the winery itself. Dave was a fabulous host and gave us a short tour of the vineyards as well. Loved the wines so much we joined the wine club. Looking forward to receiving our wines from Chehalem Winery.

we were here just when they opened and were only ones there had a nice long tasting with a few extras tossed in the lady doing the tasting was very friendly and seemed to know her stuff it was a day of going to passport places and they were our only non passport stop of the day and it was well worth paying for the tasting here.

Tastings at wineries varied, but was generally $15 - $20 per person. The b & b might have free tasting cards for guests. Enjoy!

Yes! Our host at the Chehalem Tasting Room pointed us to a restaurant, Ruddick/Wood, about a block away for lunch when we visited. It was a great recommendation. It's kind of a funky restaurant, but the food was very good. I did a review on it, as well. There is a bar (which you enter from the side street; the restaurant you enter from the front. Give it a try...
