This is a lovely beach, with added bonus of "Tunnel Beach" to the north. At the parking area, the main beach is very sandy - even the tidepools are sand. Walk north around the headland (at low tide) for the real treat. Tide pools and rock formations abound. Check out the barnacles, starfish, and anenomes. And the beach is full of interesting rocks to admire. If you stay too long, no worries! There's a tunnel through the headland that leads back to the main beach.

Work was being done to modernize the stairs, make them safer, and allow for accessibility. The beach itself is neat. When the tide is out, it has killer tidepools. When I say that, I mean the tidepools are awesome, not that they'll kill you. My kids really loved it here.

Definitely check out the tide table and take a flashlight or headlamp and hike thru the tunnel. It's a fun little trip if you don't need to use a walker, cane or stroller.

We had fun walking through the tunnel at the north end of Oceanside Beach beach. The tunnel takes you through the cliff to the other side… Tunnel Beach and Lost Boy Beach. We spent most of our time on lost Boy Beach.
Not: The entrance from the parking lot to the sandy beach is paved but is very steep. A lady with a walker couldn’t get back up.

Nice sandy beach that extends all the way south to Netarts. Heading north leads to a neat tunnel that goes through a rock formation that juts out into the edge of the ocean. Going through the tunnel leads one to another smaller beach. Didn’t find any critters in either beach area except for a few jellyfish that had washed up.

After driving fir hours along the coast, this was the perfect place to stop, walk, soak in magnificent views and have a picnic.

We attended beach-side wedding at end of June. Weather was cool but no rain that day, though this area does get rain even at this time of year.

The beach is lovely, IF you don't need to use the bathrooms. They were literally the most disgusting bathrooms we have been in WORLDWIDE. The front of the doors were almost blocked with garbage and beer cans, which surprised me, as I thought the homeless guy out front would have grabbed the cans for the deposit. When I went inside, the women's bathroom was so full of trash you could not get to the sink. The toilet was wet and filthy. There was trash (diapers) with fungus/mold growing on it to the point that it was beyond fuzzy. The stench was unbelievable. My friend assured me that the men's room was in the same condition. All trashcans outside were overflowing. I have been coming here for years, and never seen this kind of neglect.

Oceanside est un joli village au bord de l'océan, ravissant. En plus la plage est elle aussi très agréable, et elle abrite une petite curiosité: un tunnel creusé dans la falaise de Maxwell point et qui relie la plage d'Oceanside avec sa voisine, Tunnel Beach

This is a great long and beautiful beach. The protruding rocks are as stunning as anything along the Oregon coast. Make sure to follow the short tunnel at the base of the ridge to view the secluded beach/bay beyond.
