Loved visiting this winery. Wine was excellent, amid the gardens and setting was exceptional. Take a picnic and enjoy the flowers and trees and views!

An absolute must go to place while visiting Oregon City. Take your own picnic lunch, cheese and/or charcuterie or order their brick oven pizza as soon as you arrive. I enjoyed my wine tasting experience very much. I sat in several different places while drinking my wine and walked around the magnificent gardens. It’s fantastically amazing!

Exelent place to visit, will go again definitely!! It is dog friendly too!! Great wine to taste and some Saturday’s they have buffet at a very reasonable price!!

My son and his wife invited me to tag along to this vinared with them for a wine tasting.
We shared a bottle of wine In a shaded area overlooking the pond, while music was playing from a wedding party on the property, (great venue for a wedding) nice setting.
We had a lovely afternoon their and will take my husband here soon, so he can enjoy this very nice winery.
You can bring food with you to snack on while drinking their wine, as long as there is no chef there for an event. Look on their website for events.
I saw a young chiled with her backpack having a snack with her family, so this place is. Child friendly.
We were treated well and I felt a good time was had by all.

The ponds and the stone building (designed to emulate an old Spanish Romanesque church), the landscaping and beautiful vistas create a fairytale atmosphere. We sort of stumbled upon this magical place last weekend and are looking forward to another visit this coming weekend. Just go there, you will love it! P.S. The wine is good too. <3

Great site on the top of a hill with a green house style tasting room.
The tasting cost $10 with $5 being able to be applied to wine purchase.
We tried 7 with the pinot gris, house red blend , Cabernet, and the very fruity dessert wine being our fabricates
The dessert wine is so thick and delicious that it could be poured over a snow cone..

After going to two others we wanted to stop by first time and see then beautiful venue. There was a wedding going on which was lovely the landscape and feel is completely like you are out of the country. The wine wasn't the best of the day but it's a hidden gem located right in my backyard.

How could a little bit of France and a little bit of Italy be so close to me in Clackamas County? This stunning villa is an architectural gem, built on a hillside next to a lake/pond, and I felt grateful that I was permitted to share this property with them for the afternoon! This is a winery, and the wines are lush and flavorful, and run from a Pinot Gris to a Chardonnay on the white side to a Pinot Noir, a Petite Syrah, and a red blend (Merlot/Pinot Noir) on the red and. They cap the tasting off with a beautiful Cascade Berry Fortified Wine Liqueur, a beverage capable of creating an inventive Mimosa, a topping for cheesecake or ice cream, a green salad dressing mixed with olive oil, or a fruit salad dressing drippled as is on fruit, or simply enjoyed as a dessert wine. But, this is also a safe harbor for some amazingly exotic plants! The gardens here are beautifully cultivated and decorated, and are vast, and visitors are invited to roam freely and enjoy the grounds. They apparently have a caterer who occasionally does meal events at the winery, and while we did not participate on this visit in the food event, it truly looked beautiful and was very reasonably priced. Currently, the winery is open to the public only on Saturdays from 1 to 4. I will be returning with friends and family to enjoy this amazing property, wine, and landscape.

Went on a day they had a set menu of Italian food. It was fantastic, the white bean salad stole the show I could not get enough of it. We also did the tasting. Which is always fun. Ended up buying a bottle since I liked it so much. We walked the gorgeous grounds. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon

Apparently if you are not in the know already, they are not interested in you. We are newer to wine tasting and had a great weekend of it, but not here. The atmosphere is breathtaking, but the hosts were rude.
Atmosphere: Castle Vinyard tucked away in backwoods Oregon City. From the main building, to the pond, to the walk up, the whole place is a picture waiting to happen.
Parking: More then plenty
Staff: The owners were not attentive and actually left us feeling like we were bothering them with our weird questions, like what would go good with this and what would ruin the flavor.
Wine: It may have been a result of my taste buds altering to my mood, but the only one I didn't want to avoid was the one made from import.
Food: Not sure, didn't stay long enough to find out.
Even though I love a good scene, I would not go back and be treated like that.
