The lighthouse was closed during our trip but we still got to walk around outside and see the views. There are tours from April to October.

My husband and I were on an Oregon Coast roadtrip and an article mentioned that a drive to the Cape Blanco Lighthouse was worth the detour and it is! Located on the most western tip of Oregon, it is the oldest continually operating lighthouse on the Oregon coast. Once you make your way to the parking area it is quite windy but the views are spectacular. Walk to the gift shop near the lighthouse and, for only $2, you can learn all about its history by informative volunteers and tour the main floor of the lighthouse. Unfortunately, visitors cannot climb up the lighthouse at this time because age-related fragility.

Highlight of the trip. Very windy, hard to hold the camera steady. We've been to several lighthouses on the Oregon Coast, but this is my first paid tour... a whopping $2. Super volunteers make history come to life.

What a beautiful place to visit! Amazing views all around. Touring the lighthouse (inside) is $2 per person - very reasonable. About 1/4 mile walk each way on paved path - and not a difficult walk. Great tour guide, friendly folks, and well worth the visit.

A magnificent place to view the sunset and a highlight of the Oregon Coast. The drive out through the bog land gives a feel of the topography. The mouth of the Sixes River to the North is a calm spot in contrast to the wild Pacific.

The lighthouse was closed due to covid, but it is beautiful and the walk to it offers wonderful views of the coast. It gets very windy, as you are exposed on a ridge.

This lighthouse is an icon of the Oregon coast. As other recent reviews mention, everything is closed. You can still walk up the long path and touch the lighthouse but that's about it. There are other viewpoints that give a better view.

The light house is in Cape Blanco State Park, a bit north of Port Orford. Both the light house and a nearby old home are closed because of COVID. We walked around the 1898 Victorian home. A beautiful spot. Oldest standing lighthouse on Oregon coast. If you are into lighthouses it is worth a stop. Great views.

Drove by to see this lighthouse. The location is really pretty, although it was very windy the day I was there. Clear blue skies, which made for a nice setting. Sadly, both the lighthouse and the visitor center are still closed so I couldn't really see any of the details about the lighthouse.

Friend and I exploring the area drove out to see lighthouse. Closed so no tours but you could take a short walk and get up close to the lighthouse for some good photos.

Can a 22 ft Rv. Use the road to the lighthouse, is there rv parking?

Not knowing your RV skills, there is an RV parking lot beyond the car lot at the Lighthouse. However, the road to there is very narrow in spots, single vehicle wide. Or you can park the RV before the gate and walk over to the Lighthouse. It is downhill and then uphill walk.
