Bought a groupon for four, two of our group is mainly into beer or hard alcohol. But they both found and loved several of the Fizzys. It was a Saturday eve, our guy was awsome we had (sorry Im not good at remembering names) but he was very knowledgeable on their products and was able to make the recomendations for the two that thought they were not fans of the fizzy, they are now!!!! We played a game while we visited and stayed till late. Will deffinatly go back!!!!

My wife and I discovered this place when we were on a late morning (or perhaps early afternoon) stroll around the neighbor hood while visiting one of our children in the area.
We saw it.
It looked interesting with the signage and the space they have created.
We went in and talked to a very knowledgeable young man and he introduced us to the products they create. Fruit based fizzy (carbonated) wines and some with hot pepper blends. My wife had the Ghost pepper/Cranberry and I had the Habanero/raspberry (I think) version. They were fantastic. The place has a very casual atmosphere and a shelf full of games should you wish to have a beverage and a game. They also allow the next door neighboring restaurant's food to be brought in if you wish. An awesome place and one we will regularly visit when we go to visit our daughter.

Fizzy wine, who would have guessed that it would taste so good! I love the one with Habanero (not too spicy)! The atmosphere is fun and intimate and the patio outside is even better.

Friends referred my husband and I to this little spot. It is a refreshing way to spend a little time. Great uniquely blended ciders. Cherry basil. Habricot. Lime habenero. The list goes on. This little gem is situated next to Tamale Boy - another great PDX spot. Grab a cider and then some grub. A winning combination! Enjoying cauliflower specialty of tamale boy.

Hi-Wheel has fun, fantastic, fizzy wine! The flavors are delicious, fun, and fizzy! We enjoyed the fizzy wine so much, that I forgot to snap a photo of the full tasting assortment.

Situated in a neighborhood area, this is a hidden gem! Terrific patio area, cool building, and awesome drinks. The staff was friendly and patient, even with us taking awhile to choose what to drink. LOVED the fizzy wine, and there is also mead and beer available on tap. Bottles of assorted beverages to go as well as growler fills. Food next door at Tamale Boy looked delicious--huge bowls of ceviche and guacamole being delivered made my mouth water. We will be back many times!

Hi Wheel offers fizzy wine made with citrus juices. The selection was good and offered many different flavors. It was awesome! A new twist on wine and the service was also wonderful. Paired with Tamale Boy next door. All in all, a cool place to visit while in Portland.

I like my IPAs hoppy, but for diversion, and because m'lady isn't as fond of the hops we rode the #8 up to Dekum and decided to give Hi-Wheel a shot. Brilliant!
Sitting out on the back porch, drinking their reasonable assortment of ciders on a really gorgeous day was an awesome choice for the weekend. I'm not a big cider guy, but the flavors were light, crisp and nicely priced. Easy going staff, pleasant patrons, and Tamale Boy Restaurant was right next door and they'll deliver tortas to the table. It's a good thing too, because three really nice ciders on an empty stomach could have made for seriously early afternoon nap.
