At the last minute, my husband and I decided to schedule a 90 minute massage followed by a 90 minute sensory deprivation tank soak, and The Float Shoppe happily fulfilled our request. The massages - performed by Crystal and David - were absolutely amazing, and the float tanks - a first for us - were rejuvenating and peaceful all at once. The staff were unbelievably personable and professional - Natalie was able to book our appointments within an hour, Abraham was very informative concerning the float tanks, and Crystal and David educated us on the status of our physiology. The Float Shoppe is nestled in a charming neighborhood where there are plenty of little boutiques, eateries, and coffee shops - and - they have their own free parking lot right in front of their building, which is a beautiful house converted into a business. Will definitely seek their services whenever we travel back through Portland.

I floated for my first time last week at the Float Shoppe. Their entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and made me feel very comfortable for my first ever experience. After the first session, I was hooked on the new perspective and deep relaxation that found in the tank. I can't believe I waited so long to Try this out. Looking forward to incorporating this into my weekly routine. Try it out, you won't be disappointed :)

The staff was SO welcoming and helpful. Explaining the hows and whys and what was provided on site. Exactly what I needed and the real love tor Floating he had was very uplifting. His love dissolved my nervousness. I will do this again because there is a learning curve and I feel I can get more benefit in the future.Everyone can do this and maybe everyone should to make our world a better place.

The staff is amazing, so friendly, inviting, kind, zen.The foot bath is wonderful.The float tubs and rooms are great, comfortable, clean and full of everything you could need.I would HIGHLY recommend you visit. It was amazing. And I haven't even tried the massages, yet.

A restful way to go on a peaceful mind trip. Will absolutely do this again. I did the dark version. Thought my mind would go somewhere dark in that space, but it didn't it. Loved it, it was over too quick.

I had a truly magical experience at The Float Shoppe today. I spent the entire day there because I booked the 'Spacewalk'. 90 minute massage followed by a 90 minute float followed by a light meal followed by a 90 minute acupuncture session.
First of all, Abraham greeted me when I arrived. He was so friendly, helpful and attentive. He explained everything very well.
Then my massage with Clementine was amazing. She has such a healing touch and she is highly intuitive. She also explained things well and she was so compassionate. The craniosacral work she performed on me was very powerful, let me tell you.
After that I had the float session. It was restorative and calming. It really helps to ease muscle tension. I was provided spring roll wraps afterward from a nearby Thai restaurant. With plum and peanut sauce. So tasty!
Finally, I had the acupuncture session with Mari Ane. Wow! She used a variety of techniques, not just the needles. She did some cupping on my back and she used a sound bowl on me. This was the first time I had acupuncture and I could really feel the energy moving through me. It was incredible.
I was on another plane of existence by the time I was done. My head was waaaaay up in space. I understand why they call it the spacewalk. I highly recommend this place. The foot bath they have in the cozy waiting room is a bonus, plus complimentary tea! Thank you so much Float Shoppe 💓
