Forse è una delle cose più carine da fare in città, la passeggiata lungo il fiume è rilassante, piacevole, propone varie attrazioni architettoniche oltre che naturali, fontane e palazzi, gli animali sui prati ed il fiume che scorre tranquillo. Non manca ovviamente un tratto con bar e ristoranti per fermarsi a mangiare o bere.

橋を見ながらの散策路

Noisy and smelly

One would think for all the money the city spent on this walkway, they would maintain it, clean it and the surrounding area, and do something about the homeless... or maybe that's a Portland Thing?

週末はクラフトマーケットやフードカートで賑わう

ホテルから近かったので散策しました。川沿いにかかる橋を撮影したり、週末はクラフトマーケットやフードカートが来て賑わいます。犬の散歩やレンタル自転車を使っている方々も多く、徒歩でも安全です。ホームレスの方も居ますが、気にしなければ大丈夫です。

If you like to walk - this is the spot

River Walk with Cherry Blossom

I had 10 km. running along Willamette river walk. I like the way of connection and also cherry blossom along downtown river bank. However, a lot of homeless can be found.

Très bel endroit

C’est un endroit idéal pour se promener à pied ou à vélo. On y trouve des endroits très agréables, jardins, parc, marina, musée … et les restaurants ne sont pas loin. Au printemps (fin mars), très beaux cerisiers du Japon fleuris. Beaucoup de sans-abris dans ce secteur, mais aucun problème avec eux.

Great Spot to Walk, Run, Bike and Watch Sunrise and Sunset

The Willamette River Walkway is a great place to get your steps, watch the sun rise and set, and take in both the river and the many bridges that cross it. Good pedestrian cross over points are Tilikum Crossing and the Steel Bridge. I recently did a 5.5 mile walking loop using these two bridges; you can design longer or shorter loops depending on your needs. The river front is a great scene to be active in PDX.

Enjoyable walk

We decided to walk the river on a Saturday, so we could end up at the Saturday Market. It's such a beautiful place to enjoy a walk. The river is an amazing back drop to walk, talk, and at the end... shop.
I recommend going on a Saturday and spending some extra time at the market.
