Phil was our driver and guide. He was excellent. He was friendly, information and fun. We were a small group and he made sure we were all engaged. My sister and I both have mobility issues Phil made sure we were OK, slowed the pace when needed. All in all I highly recommend this trip and Phil!

Phil was a great guide as we toured some of the Oregon beaches. He was knowledgeable about the area, its history, and its fauna and flora. We visited some truly beautiful sites. As an easterner, this was just what I wanted - to get a flavor of what the area was like.

Good directions for pick up. Guide was fun & helped with mobility of guest. Photo opportunities were nice. Would use company in future.

Great 1/2 day tour! The hotel pickup was right on time and the van was clean and spacious. Our guide, Jay, was extremely personable and shared a wealth of knowledge, and the falls were fantastic! We had ample time for photos and to take in the scenery. Just breathtaking!

John did an excellent job . He picked us up promptly and presented Portland well on the drive to the Gorge and waterfalls. He had much useful land informative information about the sites we saw.

They never showed!
No response to messages!
Received confirmation of booking and pick-up time of 8:45-9:00am at hotel. Was outside waiting at 8:40am.
At 9:15am, sent text message to tour operator asking if there was a new pick-up time. Also sent message in TripAdvisor.
9:40am - sent message requesting full refund.

I believe that yes, they would absolutely accommodate a solo traveller. Our tour guide was very friendly and I’m sure they would make a solo traveller feel comfortable.

I would love to take this tour with my husband. However I have bad anxiety if i do not sit by the door. It is difficult to understand but is there anyway i can be assured a seat by the door. My husband does not require a seat by the door or next to me.

I would find it very stressful taking toddlers on the tours we were on (Portland City a.m. + Columbia Gorge, Multnomah Falls p.m.). I’m pretty sure you would have to bring your own car seats, and, while much of the city tour is spent just driving around, you do stop and walk around at three sites, one of which is a historic mansion where you are not allowed to touch anything. The Gorge and waterfalls tours involve viewing the sites from tall heights. I witnessed one toddler pushing almost half his body through the bridge while looking at one of the falls - no joke, one wrong step and he would have fallen to his death. It was terrifying for me as a parent - not a place I would want to bring a toddler at all

Call Hub World. I'm not sure, but they appear to be flexible enough (vans instead of enormous buses) that they can pick you up at any downtown hotel you choose. We stayed in Beaverton and we called them to ask for a pre-arranged meeting point. They knew of a place we could park free and they met us right on time. We reached Hub World at 1 800 637 3110.

NanP, yes the vehicle was that bad if not worse. I was trying to describe our experience as truthfully as possible without being inflammatory. Evidently Hub World follows no safety regulations. The fact that they would book a disabled passenger on a fairly physical tour was disturbing as well. Hub World was aware of the passenger's physical limitations as the tour guide/driver informed us of that.
