This is a very nice and quite photography gallery that has rotating exhibits. A favorite is there photography drawers that you can explore various photography projects by just opening up a drawer and removing the photographer's portfolio of photographs. It's a free gallery, but please leave a donation as a token of your appreciation and visit.

Went to see Robert Frank's "street photos." Limited showing: They will be shredded soon. Also saw some of his cinematography. Excellent unusual works. Don't miss this. Free; donation suggested.

I made a deliberate journey to the Blue Sky Gallery the week. I"m glad I did. I've been before but this time it had a display that was advertised. Always an interesting and amazing little place. Pleasant neighborhood as well!

You could spend hours here. Blue Sky has been around for years and really supports Fine Art and Documentary photography. National and International shows rotate every month and then there are the viewing drawers: 60 or so emerging artists that you can just pull out and look through. Plus a floor to ceiling library of photo books - many out of print.
There are also artist talks. We went to a fascinating one by this months main artist- the question and answer period was thoughtful- Portland's photo community is clearly involved.

I went to Blue Sky Gallery to view a photo exhibition . The location is very good, the exhibition area is excellent and the staff very helpful. I took my portfolio to be analyzed and they guided me on the procedures calmly , even though it was a vernissage day.

Blue sky is an anchor of the Portland Art community. The rotating show was great. But we really loved exploring the open archives.

It's not super big, it is really nice. I enjoyed coming here and seeing the photo, they even have an area for locals to post their art on a weekly basis. It's FREE and fun. I am glad I went.

In this day and age when everyone with a phone camera thinks they are artsy photographers, it's nice to see a gallery that shows real, actual art photos! The gallery is just about the right size to spend 30 to 60 minutes examining the works. We saw three shows and the hand painted portraits from Brazil are worth the visit alone.
