My college buddy and I stumbled into the HT after a long night of doing random stuff, and were pleasantly greeted by Ruby, quite possibly the most amazing person in Portland. She told me she plays guitar, which is is pretty cool, too. Rad bar food, lots of vegan options. Def get the vegan wings; best I’ve had in PDX. The back patio is fun, and the bar itself is very comfortable. I’d say this is one of the nicer “dive” bars in Portland.

Every 'regular' option on the menu has a vegetarian or vegan alternative, making this place perfect for groups of people with varying tastes. There's a decent selection of local beers and the prices seem fair.
Two complaints: The tables could really do with a clean. They're sticky and, in places, quite grim. Secondly, the staff on duty really did seem permanently annoyed about actually having to work. I mean, I don't expect a painted on grin and a hand job - but a 'hi' would be nice, as opposed to a grunt that might be an enquiry about what I want to order.

Their food was average but had a large vegan selection. Drink pours were good/tasty and nice beer selection. It wasn't the most inviting place- especially if u don't have visible tattoos.

Hungry Tiger is a place where vegans and meat-eaters can enjoy good food and drinks and know that the vegan items are prepared on dedicated equipment. There is a happy hour every day and a good selection of drinks and beers. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it is open late.
