Great Place!

I was here recently to see some friends playing music & was quite impressed! This place has loads of atmosphere, with lots of antiques & Irish memorabilia. They serve an impressive array of beer - with micro-brews & local beers, as well as Guinness of course; plus they are a full service bar. Everyone was very friendly, polite, & even entertaining - including both customers & staff. And while lots of people were there, somehow it didn't seem too crowded for comfort. It has a very earthy, down-home ambiance.
The tables were moved back for dancing, & it became a highly charged, creative atmosphere at times. The music there that night was primarily originals, old rock & roll, & popular folk-rock standards, so it remained somewhat low key & mellow at the same time. They also have outdoor seating, which was nice to have access to.
They offer food, but i am not in the position to review it yet. But I see that it is also highly rated on other review sites, & their website includes both their calendar & menu. Their calendar shows that they are always busy, with many genres of music & activities.
I was very pleasantly surprised, & I recommend this place if you ever see it listed for an event. It has a great atmosphere, loads of charm & I will definitely return there whenever in the area...
