I saw a great interview and promo for this place, but not sure what happened? I ordered 3 items with priority shipping, so you think it arrived on time? No. I'm on day 5 with zero communication. I have emailed 4 times, I have called 3 times and can't get confirmation for the purchase even with my order number.
I was told the shipping people don't work on weekends... but I ordered on Wednesday, Aug. 8th so they had 2 full days to send a priority shipping paid for box with the products I purchased. Nope. Still nothing.
This place seems disorganized af, with sh¡tty customer service since I'm being forced to stalk them for 4+ days (not including weekends) for answers. And what a surprise? They've had consistent issues and negative reviews with online orders and figuring out what they need to do to ship the items on Yelp.
It's 2024? Taking this long for priority shipping let alone to reply to customers with accurate information is a no brainer. Operate like a 1 star, you get 1 star. So disappointed that their shortcomings played a big part in ruining my friend's birthday gift.

Oh and the chocolate, amazing. We went as part of a Forktown Food Tour, the people working there were really friendly and helpful. We learned a lot and went back after the tour and bought a bag full of salts and chocolates.

This is not my kind of place, but I have to say that it was pretty impressive.
It was the fifth stop on our Forktown Food Tour with a sampling of chocolate bitters and salt. More importantly was the knowledge provided about the different kind of salts they offered and how they could be used in cooking, especially the slabs for meat. I had never heard of this before, and it is something that peeked my interest for sure once I had gotten back home.
I am not a huge fan of bitters. While here we had tried Fleur de sel, sel gris and flake salts, and a sampling of Portland made chocolates. While none were really to my personal liking, I did enjoy being exposed to things I would most likely never try on my own. That is what taking a food tour is all about. Not only the food, but getting some experience and knowledge that you can use afterward.
This unique little shop is worth a peak. I found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable about cooking salts and the different ways in which chocolate was made. They offered many more varieties than we had tried on the food tour, so while those were not my cup o tea, I am sure you can find something up your alley.

ポートランドにはN Mississippi Ave.とNW 23rd Ave.の2箇所にあるみたいですね（2017年10月）。私が訪れたのはNW 23rd Ave.の方。この通りにはセンスのいいカフェやレストラン、ブティック、雑貨屋が集まっていて飽きません。このお店もその一つ。壁一面のチョコに迷ったら、年季の入った店員さんがあれこれ教えてくれます。

I came here with a food tour and was pretty skeptical. It's salt. Boy, was I wrong. I had no idea how many salt options were available. When I tried the Parmesan Truffle on popcorn, I was in heaven. This stuff is sooo good. After the tour I went back to buy some to take home.

My wife was looking for some unique bitters so it was suggested we look here. I was surprised by the number of different offerings. Another nice surprise was that they offered a smell or taste of most of them. Also a great selection of specialty chocolates and a variety of seasoning salts along with large salt blocks for cooking. Well worth a stop in. The Portland Bitters Project came with three bottles of bitters in a unique leather pouch. Prices are comparable to other high end stores.

A mistura parece não fazer sentido, mas logo ao entrar, fica claro que uma floricultura que vende também pedras de sal, chocolates e bitters tem tudo para dar certo. O ambiente aconchegante oferece ótimas opções para presentes. Os arranjos são cheios de flores diferentes, com combinações autorais maravilhosas.

Cute little shop with tons of different salts and chocolates. Good mix of each with some interesting favors. Got to try some trouble black salt with popcorn in the store which was delicious!

I want to note we visited the location on NW 23rd and it was an excellent stop. We were attracted by the slabs of Himalayan Sea Salt - very curious. We were floored at the associates description of cooking on these blocks. What a curious concept!
If you are looking for a unique gift from Portland, come here.
We purchased a salt brick and the cooking with salt block cook book. We cannot wait to try it!
They also have a great selection of special chocolates and bitters. The associate was SO sweet and adorable. She was very knowledgeable about the products and helped us make great purchases.
I will be back next time I visit.

This section of Mississippi Street has so many fun places to venture in to but this is a must. Try the salt blocks they sell plus the variety of salts and peppers and bitters. What a combination plus flowers and chocolate too. Helpful staff when we visited with everyone in our group making purchases.
