Yum. If you like the taste of pear, it really shows in their liqueur and brandy. Do try and get some. The tasting was very reasonably priced and enjoyable.

We stopped here about 45 minutes before they closed and we were not disappointed. Hester was a great educator on brandy, liqueur and grappa. For $5.00 you get your choice of tastings and a free glass. I was one of a group of 5. I was the only one that did not do the tasting and even I had fun just listening to how they got the pear to grow in the bottles of brandy they had for sale. Unique experience and very affordable! Thank you Hester!

Who knew (not me) brandy can be distilled from any number of fruits, savories, etc.! I'm originally from Wisconsin, the whole state drinks brandy...except me! Tastes from Cedar Creek have changed my mind. I especially liked the 8-yr apple which did not taste like apple at all...just very smooth. And then there was the Cassis Liqueur! I don't like sweet liquor and asked to taste the tartest one they had and wowza, I was sold and yes, took a bottle home. But wait, I've forgotten my hubby, who is a brandy drinker! His choice was the American Pot Still Brandy, aged in French Oak. You get five tastes for $5 and a little glass to take home, a bargain considering the usual cost at some wineries is more $$ for less. Go there, this was fun! (I think it said they give tours on Saturdays.)

Would suggest the tasting as it is $5 a person for five choices and you get a free glass. The flavors are nice with some being very strong and memorable. Check out the pear in a bottle brandy. Warning this is in an industrial section so don't think you are going in the wring direction

We went there solely to try their famous Scotch style whiskey. However we discovered a whole new vice by trying their wonderful brandies. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We skipped the more popular Distillery Row on the other side of the river for this quaint distillery with liqueurs derived from Oregon fruits. We specifically went to try the single malt whisky they offer, McCarthy's, known to be in the vein of some of the Islay (Scotland) distillers. While a young whiskey, it had the peatiness we come to expect from Scotland.
Of the liqueurs, the Marionberry and the Cranberry were the best, flavor-wise They're known for pear, which had a woodsy aftertaste. Luckily, my local store carried the cranberry so it made for incredible mixer with sparkling wine at our Thanksgiving.

I did the $5 tasting, it was fun. They offered a good variety of fruity grape, brandy and liqueurs. However, they don't have whisky available for tasting but buying only, great disappointment :(

A vast array of fine brandies, including my favorite, Grappa, ranging from traditional to wine infused. Liqueurs and Eaux de Vie brandy, featuring douglas fir (yes!). Tastings available (5 choices for $5), including most that are for sale. Tours can be had if pre-arranged.

We did the $5 tasting of five offerings, from grappa to brandy to liqueurs. What fun! Educational too! We were in and out within a half hour and the young female working in the tasting room was very knowledgable.
