I stayed in Manzanita about 20-30 min away from Rockaway Beach, depending on traffic. Along the whole coast is a bunch of nice views and scenery that me and my gf stopped to take pics of. Rockaway Beach had a parade for 4th of July and the beach was so nice. We practically stayed on the beach for the entire day because it was so nice. A bunch of local shops and places to eat kept us busy, but the weather and the atmosphere is what made us enjoy the day. We had a front row view of the fireworks over the beach water, it was breathtaking. There was yellow caution tape that kept people from getting too close to the firework mortars, but it didn’t take away from the amazing view of the sky/ocean. I would do this every year if I could.

Very nice beach town. Lots of shops and things to do. Great pastry shops too!! There’s a railroad with a scenic tour you can take.

Our trip to Rockaway Beach was inspired by the Ramones, so we played the song while there. We did not walk toward the water, but enjoyed the view the walkway.

We loved the white sand! We brought two kites along and our small grandkids were able to fly them a very long while. They built castles in the sand and we all had a great time. Very clean. We ate lunch at one of the picnic tables just west of the pa king lot.

Loved walking the beach with our puppy and letting him off the leash to play ball. I got some great Milky Way photos from darker areas of the long beach and highly recommend for night photography.

Was traveling down coast and stopped to get photo of the double rocks. Very cute beach town. Very walkable with shops and restaurants. Nice sandy beach with some great views

So beautiful, quiet, and easily accessible. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Theres also train rides! Such a cute town, would come here again.

Cute little town with nice beach. Great rock formations and fun to watch waves go though the one with the hole in the middle. Beach nice and sandy. Parking lot small but we found a place. Cute town to spend day at as well as beach.
