The statue is a great way to honor the end of the trail for Lewis and Clark. A small part of the Turnaround, but the best one.

A very good statue and explanation of the end of the trail for explorers Lewis and Clark. You have a great view of the entire beach and can rent bikes to ride to the circle.

If you are standing in front of this statue, I feel so bad for you because you made the mistake of coming to Seaside, Oregon. This is truly the grossest place on the otherwise beautiful Oregon coast. It is a nice statue. If you are smart, you will just look at the pictures. Do not come see it in person because you do not want to be in Seaside.

Visiting this monument is easy. But do not miss the Salt Works, a NPS site further south off the Prom.

The statue is located overlooking the beach at the end of Broadway street, in the middle of a traffic circle . There are so many trails and spots in Oregon and Washington named after Lewis and Clark, but this was the only statue we came across on our trip up the Oregon coast. It's part of history, so I hope the statue will remain standing. Not a must see in my book, but a nice photo stop.

My husband and I visited Seaside Beach Lewis and Clark Monument on our trip down the west coast. We had been in the area years before when we were dating and had stumbled upon this monument. We thought it would be fun to return so many years (and travels) later. It's a nice monument and piece of history. The beach is expansive and serene. There are nearby shops if you enjoy shopping. It would be a peaceful place to relax and stroll. There's not a ton to it but it's a fine, clean area to take in the Pacific coast.

Stop here and take a picture to remember you stay at Seaside. Then go down to the beach and enjoy yourself!
