Avoid the Seaside Antique Mall at all costs.
Would give negative 100000 starts if it was possible.
My experience with this place has been nothing short of a nightmare, largely due to the sheer incompetence and unprofessionalism of the owner, Jodie Mathison. Despite sending multiple emails trying to secure a spot to sell, I received no response. After about five ignored emails, I resorted to calling, only to be told repeatedly that Jodie Mathison was unavailable and would call me back—a promise she never fulfilled.
The only way I managed to speak with Jodie Mathison was by calling incessantly until someone finally picked up. Her attitude was dismissive, and I had to all but force her to acknowledge that I was securing a spot and setting up the following week. Her lackadaisical "okay" response was a red flag that this business is far from well-run.
The advertised rent of $60 is misleading as they tack on a "social media fee," bringing the total to $70 per month. They occasionally sent reports on sales, but the promised monthly statements via email or mail were non-existent. Then, on July 28th, I was blindsided with a demand for $140.46 in late fees for April and May. When I challenged this, having settled all dues on June 4th and being told I was up to date, Jodie Mathison had the audacity to say, "Listen, I'm not sure why you're upset because you haven't paid your bill."
This is not just unprofessional—it's blatantly disrespectful and incompetent. I refused to pay the unjust late fees, only to be met with a dismissive "tough luck" and an excuse about a new person being in training. It's absurd to expect customers to guess what they owe and then trust this disorganized business with their card information over the phone. When I requested receipts, Jodie Mathison claimed she had them but flat-out refused to provide them.
The level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customers at Seaside Antique Mall is appalling. Jodie Mathison is entirely inept, and her inability to manage even basic communication or billing processes is astounding. The high turnover rate here is no surprise. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from this place. I wouldn't recommend shopping or selling here to my worst enemy. This business is a complete disaster and is obvious by the overall structure of the business. She has been trying to sell the mall but has failed to multiple times.

Large, clean, well organized booths. Easy to find on main drag Broadway. Found a small treasure to take home.

My ten year old daughter and I always find a treasure or two and the seaside antique mall! It’s one of our must visits anytime we visit seaside. There are treasures for all ages! Very nostalgic for people like me! Very dog friendly too! Would def recommend!

Well would be nice if the staff members wouldn't accuse you of stealing for absolutely no reason? We were in for a few minutes to check out what the store was like with the intention of returning later and when we did we were accused of stealing earlier. I didn't know it was a crime to check out a store before you had time to actually shop.

Lots of independent booths with lots of little treasures. If you enjoy browsing collectibles, antiques, and other treasures, then this is a fun place to explore!

We love antique stores! This one allows you to bring your dog into the store! They even have doggie treats at the front desk! Great, friendly service and awesome variety of antiques! We found and bought some treasures today!

I never fail to stop by to browse or buy at Seaside's Antique Mall. The Mall is vast and chock full of antiques, vintage items and collectibles. I never seem to leave without some treasure.

This was a nice clean place, well light and set up. we found a few treasures there that we just had to have. Definitely go back there again.

Huge antique mall with a large variety of items that are well displayed. Nice to visit a place with real antiques instead of dirty garage sale stuff. A wee bit pricey, but still lots of fun to treasure hunt there. We parked in front on the street.
