It was a great place to just walk around an enjoy the shops and have good food. Sunriver Brewing has great service and excellent food. The Wild Daisy is one of our favorite shops. The line at Goodys ice cream was long but worth it.

The village is always laid back fun. The restaurants were very busy, but well worth the wait. Always a great vibe especially with I e skating still happening.

The ice had many areas that had thawed, puddled and frozen again leaving ridges; there was a lot of area covered in deep grooves. Seems like staff could help a parent getting the “walkers” out when it isn’t busy and they are dealing with toddlers-would be nice customer service. The viewing area with the fireplace was really nice.

Things at the Sunriver Village are fine. The stores are mostly the same and my family feels strongly about supporting the local Sunriver businesses. That being said here’s what this week brought - for $6 a kid a very short ride on the train. Kids liked it but for $12 they should have given me at least an 8 oz beer but alas nothing but smiles. The inflatable slide and bouncy house - save yourself the $26 for two kids aged 5 and 8. Without any shade cover all rubber surfaces were blazing hot to the touch. The rock climbing wall is an additional cost. Sunriver Brewing - great after being told the wait would be 35-45 minutes which actually turned into 1 1/2 hours to get in. Food was awesome and so was the service. Ate at the Mexican place and it was great food but pricey drinks. Great service. Passed on the candy store. Shopping was good but inventories lower than normal but to be expected these days.
Best values - Paulina Lake and Paulina Peak - $5 a car load. East Lake resort serves great food

Our cabin was dirty and the checkout time (10AM - can't be changed) is a rip off, but heck, this is such a beautiful part of the world and the SHARC rec center is so much fun, the restaurants are good and varied, and the bicycling is so great, that who can complain? Me, but not much. Yes, Cluster Cabin 28 was dirty, including someone's dirty sock (underwear?) on the floor in one of the downstairs bedrooms. But they did a nice job accommodating our request for fragrance-free linens and towels. We're near Lava bed hikes, the 5-year old loved the pools, we enjoyed the lazy river & water slides, and it's just a fun family place.

We love visiting the Village at Sunriver! We always enjoy playing mini golf, grabbing some ice cream and browsing through the many shops along the way. Everything you need for your stay can be found in the village (including the grocery store, brewery and several restaurant options! Can't wait to get back!

This shopping area is very cute. I remember coming as a kid & a teen.
We took our family during Covid. The businesses are good about wearing masks, signs up to social distance. I know outside is better than inside, but we were just surprised at how many people were not wearing them walking around, when there's lots of people. We were getting a shave ice and a guy was asking a question with his mask in his hand, his girlfriend in the doorway asking questions too, with no mask. Kids running through or biking and yelling, no mask.
Most of the license plates were Oregon, WA, Ca...where we all have measures. It just seemed like because they're on vacation they forgot to be safe. We were exhausted from just the people in the village or at the North Store.
Also, I don't want a mask debate....just putting it out there for someone coming to the area that's trying to be safe.

We came to watch the “Dog Can Pull” in the Village! What fun as dog of all sizes pulled respective sizes of “empty” beer cans (16 oz to Kegs)!
Afterwards enjoyed strolling through the many shops and watching the ice skaters at the Ice Rink (turns into Miniature Golf during the warmer months)! We also saw several nice Restaurants and a Ice Cream parlor, so will definitely be back to check them out!
Well worth your time!

We visit Sunriver about every three years, and have for decades. The shop we always visit is West of the Moon at the center of the village. Great place. Interesting stuff from all over the world. This time I bought a didgeridoo made of carved bamboo and am now learning to play it. The woman in the shop showed me how to play it and gave me some tips. If you plan to purchase groceries during your stay, you'll need to shop at the village grocery store at the south end of the village, but be prepared to pay high prices. Summertime is busy time. Winter, not so much.
