Ok view because the view obstructed by uncut bushes. It is in the way, so a quick stop is not a waste of time. But, not a destination. You can see the vista point, which is the best view to see the gorge from higher point. The vista building closes at 6pm but the view area is always open

Did a session with Valeria just before the birth of Zion. We love the Columbia Gorge! We go here whenever we want to see epic river views. If you're visiting Portland, definitely go to the Columbia Gorge!

This is one of the best scenic views of the Columbia River Gorge. It is actually near Corbett north of Portland. There is parking and some trails to walk down closer to the river. There is a memorial stone with tributes to Sam Hill and Lewis & Clark.

This was a very beautiful place to visit! We had just flown with an airplane tour and the pilot pointed this spot out and suggested we go see it after and we did. We then drove through the rest of gorge by the waterfalls. Very pretty drive. Highly recommend.

We came here on a rainy day but didn’t stay long because our view was hampered by the fog. Oh well. That's life.

This was a quick stop, but boy the view was worth it! We were glad we stopped. It;s a good introduction to the Columbia River Gorge

We were visiting mid week in March, so didn't find parking a problem. I agree with other reviewers that there is certainly more room for turning around at the far end of the car park, where you will also find the viewpoint, litter (trash) bins and information boards.
It was a really dull day unfortunately, but the vista from here is spectacular for the distance one can see and the height that you are at.
If you are driving the Columbia Historic State Highway 30, as we were, then definitely a stop to make.

Stunning view, but parking is a bit tight so be aware of that. Not only is the view as a whole lovely, and if you're a Twilight fan you can see the View Point Inn where the prom scene was filmed.

Parking can be tricky here - the parking lot is tight, and there's no good way to turn around to come back out. Park at the upper end of the lot if possible, where there's more room to maneuver. Good views from here!

Gorgeous lookout. Got there pretty early on and there was no one there. Beautiful open view of the whole gorge. Maybe one of the nicest views I've ever seen.

We drove along the historic Scenic Highway 30 and just followed the signs. The tourist information center in Troutdale was very helpful, they told use about the route to use.
