Bad experience. This is the first time I've dealt with the Bristol Riverside Theater. We spent $112 on two tickets. The night before something came up and we asked for an exchange, which the website said was allowed. But they refused to exchange the tickets. They told us they only honor exchanges for the same show! But what if there are no other shows? How lame can you get? Why would anyone want to keep money for a service they did not provide? Isn't that unethical? Why not offer the exchange?
If it were my business I would not piss off local people that are willing to spend $112 on theater tickets. I'd work with them and cultivate their interest I'd want them to tell their friends and family. Now I will tell anyone who will listen to stay away because of of the BRT's lack of flexibility and because they didn't honor their website's exchange policy.

I'm apologize you had a bad experience. Unfortunately, we do have a no refund or exchange policy. We allow exchanges within the same same for a $5 exchange fee. This can be found on our website here: https://www.brtstage.org/plan-your-visit/frequently-asked-questions/
Can you let us know where you saw something different? We definitely want to correct it so it's clear for patrons purchasing tickets.

We really enjoyed the latest show "An Act of God" with Kim Wayans. The story was clever and funny, our seats were comfortable (and close enough for viewing), and it was a great production. All in all, a very pleasant evening! We look forward to attending another show soon!

The Bristol Theatre has very good performances, small seating area with comfortable seats, not a bad seat in the house. The theatre is right on the river, parking on site, or on the street. What could you want for a very enjoyable evening.

Good music, nice seats, friendly atmosphere and reasonable priced tickets. Have local free parking. Good sorbet during intermission.

I’ve been to the Bristol Riverside Theater numerous times and they always have a good show! I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the house! I went at Christmas and it was nice to hear the singing. Everyone was lovely.

I did not know what to expect from a show that is 250+ years old, but the cast, the direction and the staging of "The Rivals" made it very contemporary and hilarious. Sort of reminded me of "The Importance of Being Earnest", with catchy musical numbers and a very talented cast of ten who all interacted beautifully with each other. BY ALL MEANS, SEE THIS SHOW!

Great sightlines, easy to hear, and there's a coffee/soda bar in the lobby - although when we went, coffee machine was broken. Friendly staff, easy to reserve tickets. We went for a presentation that started at 5:30, so we were able to park in the recommended lot behind the bank (adjacent to the theatre) and they said there's no metered parking after 6 - otherwise, it may take a bit to find parking. Would come here again for another presentation. Easy to get to, from Burlington-Bristol Bridge and Pennsylvania Turnpike.

BRT has a great variety of excellent plays and performances. There are dramas, musicals, musical performances, and children's theater. It is very convenient and parking is easy!
