This park is actually one of my favorites in the area. The people in the dog park are for the most park nice and friendly and everyone is paying attention to what the dogs are up to. I love walking the trails and taking pictures of the plants. Its a nice mini get away from the city while still being insanely close. It does tend to get busy in the summer and fall.

If you are parent, this park is a must. Dog park, children playground, tennis courts and then always busy baseball and soccer field.

Kohl Memorial Park – веселое место отдыха горожан и гостей Харрисбурга. Здесь много зеленых насаждений, и можно в тени деревьев погулять по тропинкам в лесной прохладе, а можно расположиться на пикник на солнечной лужайке, играть в мяч или просто загорать на солнышке. Чистый воздух, красивая природа – отличный отдых.

We took our kids geocaching in this park then we visited the playground. Such a pretty place with so many activities. So glad we found it with on vacation in the Harrisburg area.

We LOVE the dog parks!
A cute park with a few fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and two dog parks. One for small dogs and one for the bigger dogs.
They do allow you to take your dogs off their leash. Clean up bags are provided at the entrance in case you don't bring enough.
The dogs have so much fun. We have a bigger dog, but I enjoy that we can watch the little dogs as they share a fence on one side. The little ones often bark and run back and forth and the big dogs play with them.
We didn't have a dog park back in NY so we LOVE that this is an option for us!

This park has a great dog park, that my big 90lb. dog loved! All the dogs and people were very friendly. They have the small and large dogs separated which is a huge plus too! They have a nice trail through the woods around the park as an added bonus for my dog and I, but she had a blast meeting new friends!

The place to let your pup run in the Harrisburg area. The grass is a bit torn up, and you will probably have to sit in the full son (wear a hat), but your pup will love running around here.
They have some nice tennis courts, a basketball court, and a simple nature trail to hike on. There are some picnic pavilions to rent here.

This park has handball and basketball courts, picnic grove and baseball field. it also has a dog-walking area. It is surrounded by woods but lies only 1/4 mile from a major arterial roadway.
