Went to see Pretty Women and show was delayed 90 minutes! We were really never told why! So we try (several attempts) to go to the confession area, lighting was horrible, some areas were dark! No safety processes in place as they had hundreds of people walking around with limited lighting! Stood in concession line to be told the credit card machines were down so you couldn't purchase anything! No offer to even give out water! Staff not informed of what the delay was for! Frustration was the attitude in the section I was in and people were getting up and leaving because of such a long delay and limited updates along the way! You know..."a few more .minutes" as a half hour passes! We finally decide to leave asking who we could talk to for compensation, we ended up getting an email address! We'll, after weeks of calling and leaving messages I finally get an email to say, sorry we can't refund your $ because you didn't purchase directly from us! Never even addressed the safety concerns! Even after I submitted copies of my tickets, my paid receipt and cc info, still a response declining reimbursement! Shame on you Hershey Theatre! You should take full responsibility! I'll never go there again! Sad!

Got tickets to “Pretty Woman” for tonight. Getting a significant snow storm so called to ask about cancellation was and was told that they don’t care how bad it gets, they are not cancelling because this is the last show before they close for a year for renovations. Take note that they don’t care about their employees or their employees. They just want that $$$

We are season ticket holders for the musicals series. Most are excellent and we’ve learned over the years that when there are issues with the tech or cast, it’s the production and touring company and not the theatre’s fault. Recently saw Hamilton which was great. Ample parking. I wish they had a more efficient ticketing process, quicker lines for bathrooms and drinks but part of that is the charm of a 100 year old building

We dropped over $600 for tickets to a touring show and arrived 30 minutes before the advertised start time. We wound up standing in the rain for over 30 minutes to enter an old, dilapidated theater that had boarded up windows. The reason for such a long line? An understaffed security process and a no bag policy that was not reasonably advertised if at all when purchasing tickets. My child had trouble seeing the entire show despite being in the 4th row because the theater does not have an incline. The bathrooms rival the disrepair found in the famously disgusting NY Penn Station. Not worth the trip. Not worth the money.

The Hershey Theatre has extremely uncomfortable seating. Our knees were in our chest. The bathrooms are not Ada acceptable. You have to go up or down a flight of stairs to get to the men's room. Security is inconsistent and a joke. I saw people walk around the scanners, walk through the scanners beeping and red lights, and never get stopped or checked. Next, the temperature in the theater was hot and humid for the Beetleguise show. We were sweating, and people around us were fanning themselves. The FM Kirby Center and the Community Arts Center are much better venues.

I went on the tour with my daughter and the married couple that hosted the tour (I forgot their names), were so wonderful. What an entertaining and informative tour, I enjoyed it so much. And it what a great value for the price. The tour guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. Loved it!

Just saw Jesus Christ Superstar At Hershey 2 days ago. 100$/ticket. POORLY done in my opinion. The theater was designed to NOT use electronic boosting of instruments. This caused POOR sound dynamics in such a venue. Where was the sound engineers thought process. Did anyone actually sit in the audience to check this?? All this did was bounce sound all around so as not to be able to hear the singers . LOUD does NOT equal well done!

My partner and I had orchestra tickets to see Diana Krall. However, when we arrived and had the tickets scanned, the usher told us that we had to go up to the second floor to get to our seats. When we got to the second floor, that usher sent us up to the top balcony. Climbing all those stairs was very hard on my knees, plus my partner and I are both elderly and not used to walking up stairs. I couldn't understand how I ordered the wrong tickets. After we finally settled in, the very same usher who seated us came to us and said we were in the wrong seats, and we'd have to move! I showed her my tickets. They were in the orchestra section after all. So, we went down all those steps and finally got seated in the right section! I think the Hershey Theatre management should train their staff - particularly the ushers - to be more mindful and careful when checking tickets.

I saw KC and the Sunshine band last night. The band was absolutely amazing. The theater was gorgeous. The rules of the theater were ridiculous. I have a disco ball hat I love to wear to shows. I’ve worn it to theaters and venues all over the United States. From DC, to Seattle, to LA, to Miami, Denver, Dallas, and Moody Theater in Austin to see Kool and The Gang. Security always makes me take it off to check it as they should and that’s fine. Last night at Hershey Theater was the first time I was told I couldn’t wear it in to a show. I was going to see an iconic 50 year old disco/funk band and was so looking forward to wearing it and getting pictures in it. It’s a disco ball hat!!!! But I was told It was a weapon and they made me give it to security as we walked in to be locked in an office and wouldn’t be able to wear it until after the show when I left. I have been to venues all over the country and never had this happen. It’s a disco ball hat. It’s a fashion accessory. At most places its welcomed with open arms. It usually brings joy to everyone who sees it. But this theater said it was a weapon and I couldn’t creatively joyously express myself how I usually do and that was a total buzz kill. Be better Hershey. Other theaters everywhere are. I won’t return.

The concert was amazing, KC and the Sunshine Band got down. We needed assistance because of physical disabilities. DEENA, one of your staff members was very helpful and took care of our needs. Shout out to your amazing staff and kudos to Ms DEENA , thank you very much. Barry M Carlisle, Pa

If sitting in the lodge area is there a wall blocking your view? Do u sit low enough that the wall would block view partially? Are the balcony seats far enough away that the stage view would not be as good for the show?

The loge and balcony seats all offer good views. No walls blocking sight lines. As stated before, there is no elevator, so make certain you can do stairs for balcony seats.

Having taken my grandson to see Clifford and sitting in the orchestra and loge, he had a blast in the loge. There were many empty seats and it was like being on stage.

Yes - there are two shows. RENT and Brian Regan. We saw RENT when it was here a few years ago and it was well worth seeing. Get tickets early as they sell out quickly.
