Awesome atmosphere/vibe, great service and delicious food! Best sushi/poke in SJDS. We also enjoyed the ribeye cooked as requested

We've spend a week in San Juan and spend most of.our time surfing with Thank. We had some lessons from Danny who is an amazing teacher. He is has a lot of patience and knows exactly how to help you get to the next level.
The days we did not do any surf lessons we rented a board from them and used their transport service. Both for a great price and for us it turned out to be cheaper (and more flexible) than the regular shuttles that are offered at the different hotels.
If you want to improve your surf skills - look no further!

Myself and 5 friends happened upon this place accidentally while trying to hire scooters... and it was the best mistake we made in San Juan.
Kenneth and Danny were excellent instructors (we had many surf lessons on this trip to compare with), super friendly and bought us a round of beers at the beach. Top blokes, highly recommend.

Excelente profesores de surf tienen mucha experiencia tanto como en el agua como enceńando danny es un profesional en su trabajo y el save lo que hace ya el tiene 14 surfeando y como profesor 9 ańos y el ama lo que hace y es su paciony tiene un buen carácter y es muy divertido

Tomamos clases con Danny y después nos quedamos todo el tiempo que quisimos con las tablas surfeando. Se portó muy bien con nosotros. Danny es muy honesto y laburador!

Spent couple weeks in San Juan del Sur to learn spanish. Got a deal for spanish and Surf classes thru the NicaSpanishschool. Had a great time thru that time and learned a lot from Danny!I never gonna be a great surfer but it wasnt just about geting better, it was also a really nice atmosphere and relaxed as well! All the people i met during that time were also really nice! Defenitly a place to go when you like a relaxed surf adventure!

I took 4 classes in 5 days with Kenneth at Tuani. I shopped around at a couple other schools in town, but after talking to Kenneth was impressed by how they ran classes, and also thought they offered the best value, so I decided to go with them.
I'm so glad I picked Tuani! I had taken a couple of surf classes in Peru, and felt comfortable with the basics of surfing. I appreciated that Kenneth was able to tailor classes to what I needed, and in just 4 classes I felt I made significant strides. Kenneth gives clear and helpful instructions and tips, and by the end of our 4 days had me surfing a green wave! For folks who are coming in with less experience, I feel equally confident suggesting Tuani. Kenneth was a great teacher and made sure I stayed safe while we were riding waves. He was also a meticulous teacher and was flexible in adapting to what his students need.
The folks at Tuani are professional, fair, friendly, fun, and great teachers. It is also a local, family owned business and because of this they take pride in their work and business and go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience.
Surf lessons include transportation to the beach, a board with leash and wax, and a rash guard. Great value and highly recommend!

Danny was an amazing instructor and all-around great guy. I was lucky to have my lesson turn out to be one-on-one, but Danny explained things so well that I really only needed a few runs with his assistance before I was surfing on my own. I recommend Tuani Surf without hesitation!
