Thank you for your review and we're sorry your experience at The Flying Duck was not the one we would have liked you all to have had. Firstly, can I please apologise for my own behaviour as Operations Director in trying to defuse a situation caused by the ordering of 37 pizzas for your event with very limited notice. Like any establishment it's impossible to turn out this many pizzas all together in 10 minutes, as I explained to your party on entering the building. I do feel that our kitchens been able to supply these fresh pizzas from oven to your tables gradually, every 10 minutes over a two-hour period was more than an acceptable time scale. Our Bar Manager who you speak off in your review was most upset by the behaviour of your party on the night and we are sorry if she came across as rude. She, (as are all our staff) is fully trained with Customer Service skills, but she felt that your group were not willing to listen to her. I do hope the event was a successful fundraiser for your school and the use of our function room, free of charge, goes some way to helping those funds.
