Friendly and bright church with gifted musicians and lots of activities. There are regular and occasional activities for all ages. The holiday at home for the elderly is very popular and is not just for church members but reaches out into the community providing a welcome break for those who can no longer travel. There are women's groups and men's, including walking groups, prayer groups, house groups with Bible studies and music bands. The one large band was divided up to provide a rota to accompany the second morning Sunday services. There are two morning services. When we are visiting friends here, we go to the earlier, rather quieter one, with either organ or just a piano and a small choir, while the later service has a band for those wanting a more contemporary service. I can certainly recommend some of the shops here. It has one of the best butchers anywhere with a really superb range of produce. The greengrocer is also not to be missed for some of the very best veg you can buy. The long standing hardward shop is also a delight to shop in. Many other good shops to but far too much traffic can be a pain

Hotel was in need of a make over. Bathroom air vent was full of dirt and fluff. Breakfast was a let down, we had booked in advance that I was coeliac and for my breakfast I was told they only had two slices of gluten free bread left. I would of thought I was not the only person with a diet need so they should of had gluten free bread in already. Good job I had taken my own with me. Bathroom had not been cleaned when we got back one day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I am local to RWB and lived here many years.
There are some interesting little out of the way hidden places that in a rush you could easily miss.
I took advantage of joining a ghost/legend/history/folklore tour hosted by the towns very own town cryer and swordsman, who has a wealth of info on such a little market town and the surroundings.
I took my 13 year old daughter her friend and two dogs as I thought they would benefit from learning about the place they live.
We met Owen on Lime kiln for the 8pm tour. He had already done one at 6pm.
He spoke clearly and eloquently about some of the beautiful buildings that I pass daily but know little about. The group was a good size 10-15??
We were all able to keep up with Owen in his correct attire accompanied with a distinct top hat, looking every bit the part.
We preceded through the high street stopping at different points of interest to be told of great age old stories. Which kept the group interested and laughing.
We ventured through the church yard, into the back of old Bassett into winding lanes.
The walk lasted well over two hours, which ended at the Town hall which is also the museum.
A warm drink was available and all this for a donation to the charity 3 M's.
I think I will now look at my home town in a different way and take time to look around.
The girls and dogs totally enjoyed their tour and can't staple chatting about it.
I will def be going again.

Great variety of worship services. Great place to meet people as there are so many groups: toddlers; children; young people; men; women; house bound; walking groups - the list is long.

The church has been refurbished, so is warm and comfortable. It has two morning services on Sundays (except the 1st one of the month) to cater for traditionalists earlier on, and a congregation with more modern tastes a couple of hours later. Refreshments are served after the service in the adjoining Hillside Hall, to the back of the church, with an entrance on the Rope Yard. Hillside Hall is available for hire.

Have attended many services here, from weddings, christenings and the like.
