This was a top-tier experience and class. We first learned about the ingredients we were to use including some VERY useful tips on the differences between certain types of lentils, how to buy the best rice, spice shelf life, etc. Then the cooking class itself was super insightful, a lot of fun, and a very comfortable experience and vibe. Monisha welcomed us into her home and kitchen and showed us her techniques. We came out of having learned a lot of important foundational concepts for Indian cooking, above all that it's not nearly as difficult or complicated as one might believe and it's super fun :)
Highly recommend this to anyone interested in this cuisine and in learning from an experienced and skilled teacher. Our class size was very small so the learning experience was intimate and not intimidating at all.
