Wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Been fishing all my life but not done anything like this. Chris and Tom amazing, made the day a complete pleasure. Highly recommend, fishing was great too. Definitely would book again.

Chris and Tom were great and we caught lots of fish. They are good humoured and helpful. Some people threw up and still enjoyed the trip.Three generations went on the trip.

We did 90 minute mackerel trip and really wished we had booked a longer trip. Chris the skipper is outstanding and fun. Explained everything easily to some fairly novice fishermen including my grandsons aged 6 and 8 who had a fantastic time. The next time we are in Cornwall will be booking a longer trip with Chris and Aquila.

I cannot fully explain how amazing this trip was , I have game fished all over the world , but I was stunned by the tuna off Cornwall . We saw large shoals of tuna everywhere chasing bait fish , even whales and dolphins . The skipper was really good , putting us on fish time and time again . Two of us on boat and we caught 6 fish from 67 in to 92 in , I just didn’t think these fish were in our waters . At end of day my arms and legs were aching . Just a stunning day , best fishing day ever .

I would recommend Aquila charters as I found both Chris and Tom to be professional and friendly.the weather was against us on our trip and I was seasick.Despite this we had a great experience and would consider going again and the pasty lunch is Cornwalls finest.thanks for a great day out

Chris and Tom were brilliant hosts from start to finish on our 10 hour tuna fishing trip.
An amazing experience , would highly recommend .

What a fantastic day out caught plenty of fish, whiting, horses mackerel, mackerel, dogfish, sea bass and a conga eel ( my 11 year old daughter reeled it in by herself and it’s her first time fishing) . Both of us landed 10+ fish. Our captain Chris dropped us directly on the fish from the word go. We also had lots of common dolphin around the boat.
The Sea bass and whiting tasted fantastic on the BBQ.

Excellent day big game fishing in Cornwall. Chris and Tom were excellent hosts. Chris, the skipper put us over lots of Tuna activity and as a result we brought 6 to the boat for the day, with the largest being 450 lbs. Tom on the deck provided lots of advice and support to first time big game anglers which allowed them to confidently battle with the biggest fish they have ever encountered. As a bonus we saw Dolphins and Minke whales on a great day afloat. Highly recommended.

Hi Suzanne.
Thank you for your enquiry. A sharking trip this year is £60pp or £450 to hire the boat, with a maximum of 8 people. I have no plans at the moment to increase my prices for 2018 but that might have to change by then.
Individuals draw straws to put them in order of catching. With a full boat chances are reduced on catching.

Hi. Thank you for your enquiry. I have had several less abled people aboard in the passed. It would all depend on thier ability to use the step to get down to the boat. Unfortunately at this time I don't have a side door to the boat, getting over the gunwales can be a bit of a challenge that can be over come with the use of a box on the inside of the boat.
Aboard there is one seat by the rail or their wheel chair can be used. I have life jackets aboard if needed. I hope this helps
