Julian was a great instructor! We booked a private lesson for three of us and all managed to stand up after a 2 hour lesson! We had so much fun and would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Fantastic experience with Julian & the team at Stoked Surf school in October half term. My son (16), daughter (13), niece (17) & sons girlfriend (16), had a group lesson & added afternoon rental to keep learning! Great communication when I initially booked. Easy to find on the day of the lesson. It was raining but the kids were getting wet anyway. Just us parents who dressed for the weather to watch.
Kids learnt quickly & despite the temperature, they refuelled with pasties & ice cream (!!) & went back in for a couple more hours in the afternoon.
Julian was a great teacher, made it fun & safe! Great quality equipment, place to change & great beach as a bonus! We would recommend Stoked to anyone holidaying in Perranporth! Thanks for a fab time. 👍👍

An amazing surf school. My children had the best time on a beginner surf lesson. Fun, and engaging coaches made sure my kids had an amazing experience. Stoked Surf school also had the most progressive equipment that was very manageable for the participants. Further more it was also great to see Stoked surf school cater for improver surfers. They got to experience surfing some unbroken waves!

My experience was truely top class. Ju & his team made me feel welcome, safe and explained everything wonderfully.
From stepping on the sand to riding my first wave the service was 2nd to none.

I started surfing for the first time a year ago, my biggest regret was I didn’t do this sooner. I chose Stoked Surf School because they were so friendly and welcoming. I’ve had many sessions with them over the course of this year, group with friends, family and most recently solo.
The LOOP surfing ability is a great guide to how you’re progressing and gives you something to aim for next time you surf. I’ve moved from not being able to catch a wave to surfing clean waves out back turning forehand and backhand it’s an amazing feeling!
I love the pointers / advice given during the sessions and the encouragement to push you forward.
Huge thank you to the team at Stoked Surf School, if you’re looking to surf for the first time or improve what you already do, look no further you won’t be disappointed I promise. 🏄♂️

Easy clear booking system, family of 5 for a 2 hour begginers session.
Step by step reading using in house created loop system for each stage.
Lying down
Kneeling
Standing etc
Wetsuits great quality and the young lad handing them out got the sizes spot on really friendly and put us all at ease.
Quick but thorough safety brief then collect boards and head to the beach. Session on the sand guiding us through the first loop learning then off into the water.
Instructors were first class we had Julian who is cool personified and professional giving great instructions.
Come the end of our session we had all managed to stand up and surf into the beach. My top tip is to pay the £15 and keep the board and suit for the rest of the day. We had a great time.

We have been visiting Stoked on and off for years with our kids. This year we brought our daughter aged 16. It was windy and rainy in October and I feel much safer knowing she is taking part in a lesson as the water looks busy and wild. She had two instructors in the water watching at all times. I trusted them completely. She came out after two hours and we booked again for the next day. Thank you Julian for running such a great surf school. See you next year.

My daughter Holly has always wanted to do surfing, and I had to step up! So we found stoked.
Julian was amazing passing on his knowledge in such a short period. Safety was his priority but didn’t stop the fun one bit.
small group of 6 within one lesson we all were standing! Mind blowing… now I’m being asked when are we going back.
Everything is taken care of, wetsuits, surf boards, and changing room's all included in the price.
See you very soon!!!!

Back again as a family of 3 for our Autumn Surf fix with Stoked! Can’t recommend these guys enough and the new location is great for access to the surf school, car park, beach, surf oh and food and drink after!! With a range of coaches everyone has a piece of wisdom to pass on to us and improve our surfing. For anyone thinking about it STOP and just give it a try. Thanks to jules and the team for teaching us over the years
