I had higher hopes for a smaller beach. As it turns out, the car parking was very expensive and the beach did not live up to it. I would advise not going, when there are many better beaches close by

Lovely beach massive wide open space when tide out. Very windy the day we went with some big waves for surfing. Lots of rock pools for the kids. The shops were your normal seaside shops but all workers were polite and frendily. Council ran toilets were usable and fairly clean especially with how many use them.

Lovely fine sand , stretching out for miles, car park just on the edge of the beach. Shops , pubs, restaurants in town close by. Sand dunes to sit up on what’s not to love here.
Nice pub on the sand selling drinks and food.
Just mind out for the seagulls who will scoop down and take anything.

This is one of our favourite beaches the sea is blue the sand is clean the sea pool is a great extra ! Lifeguards go above and beyond to keep everyone safe and are constantly in contact with the beach asking you to move to safe locations in the sea ! On a sunny day this beach is beautiful. Huge area with lots of bars and shops within walking distance. We visit everytime we go and we’re NEVER disappointed

Fabulous beach in Cornwall, we came here after being recommended and loved it so much we came back twice. The facilities are excellent, there is so much around there including surf shops, coffee shops and restaurants. The beach is fabulous, lovely sand, the sea is great for surfing and wave jumping, lots of lifeguards patrol the beach so you feel safe. Really beautiful and unusual caves, a great place to find fish and crabs in rock pools. Really spacious beach so plently of space to picnic.

I really enjoyed my experience on Perran Sands which is a walk north of perranporth beach. Amazing beach with lots of gorgeous coastline and stunning waters. I was told the North end by the cliffs was a Nudist/Naturist part so I headed up to the North end. There are a few nice patches of grass above the rocks of the beach & I felt so at ease to strip off and read my book.
It is overlooked by the costal walk which is fine. I think a lot of people passing by were really cool & made a few shall we try it remarks lol. I do think it would help massively if there were naturist signs around to let fellow beach goers know its clothes optional.
A couple of female naturists said to me they looked up online that it was a naturist beach but I think they felt like they had to cover up at times by people passing by but felt at ease as the day went on. I didn't worry about being naked at all, It was an incredible experience.
I really enjoyed the stunning and tranquil perrand sands & I encourage others to enjoy the freedom of the warm sun and breeze on your skin & enjoy Naturism.

Spent a lovely couple of hours on Perranporth beach. We got there early before the busy began and believe me, it does get very busy. Gorgeous scenery, sandy beach, caves, it's just a simply lovely spot. We loved it there, can't wait to return.

Lovely beach with caves and shallow areas that are good for the kids to paddle. Gets very busy in peak season. Plenty of spots close to the beach to grab food, drinks and snacks. There’s a public toilet which is free as well.

This is one of my favourite beaches in Cornwall. It is a sandy beach with a wide back shore. There are free public toilets and a car park within one minute of the beach. It has a good selection of beachfront cafes and eatery’s, and is also only a two minute walk from Perranporth Highstreet. It can get busy, but so does ever other Cornish beach. It is also dog friendly all year, which for dog owners is a massive bonus.

Hi, can you take dogs on the beach in October??.
Is there a bus service that takes you to different towns and can dogs go on the bus.

Hi, hoping to go to Perranporth 16th March for my birthday anyone know what the weather will be like that far ahead??. Also any dog friendly tearooms and where the best Cornish pastie bakery’s are, do u know if they will be open that time of year??.

Hi weve been to perranporth for the last 7yrs. The beach and village is very dog friendly very clean and they have doggy showers on the toilet block. Dont worry about the weather its beautiful no matter what the weathers like take welly,s just in case. You csn get cornish pastys everywer yummy.

Next to the Co-op is great, £6 all day
or next to the Garage, £5 all day
both are a short walk to the beach
