We called in for lunch and the selection was very good — it was difficult to choose. We tasted a few beers whilst having lunch so could make an informed choice in the shop. There was a lot of information regarding the establishment of the brewery that was interesting.

Top marks for this brewery tour with our very engaging knowledgable and entertaining guide, Baz. The tour was really interesting and the many different types of beer to try afterwards made for a very convivial and tasty experience. Well done - great value for £20 a head.

Relaxed atmosphere, great friendly staff, nothings too much trouble. Service with a smile even when busy. Tom and Gee make a great team!

Absolutely brilliant tour and accompanying lunch afterwards. Staff all extremely helpful and friendly. Our brewery guide “Barry “ was very knowledgeable, friendly funny and a credit to your organisation. All in all time well spent 👍👍

Second time visiting the brewery, was down with friends this time and remembered what a good trip it was, was lucky enough to have Barry as a tour guide ( sure there all good ) as we had him the first time, brilliant tour, thank you Barry!

This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The tour guide, Baz, was passionate about the subject which made it highly informative, educational and also very entertaining. 10/10 for the tour and tasting (generous measures enjoyed whist chatting with the other tour guests), the friendliness of the staff, the warm atmosphere, the food and of course, the beverages!

This was an interesting and great tour. We got a good sense of the history and how their brewing process works. Some quite nice displays of info throughout and a nice beer tasting to finish. Hicks bar is great for lunch and drinks as well.

As above dogs are welcome in the grounds and the bar area but not the brewing area, we took our dog with us.

There is a nice restaurant inside and families were having lunch so I imagine it's fine for kids since they won't be offered any alcoholic beverages to drink. You can checkout their website for further information:

I believe there was a handicapped ramp out front that takes you inside to the store and to purchase tickets for the tour. Restrooms are down a narrow hallway so don't think adequate space for a wheelchair or scooter. I don't remember having to climb any stairs. Check their website for more information.

Probably not as in my tour group 2 people had walking sticks and 1 of those sat out part of the tour.

No we didn't. You can just turn up and have a look round the shop/have a drink whilst waiting for the next tour to start.

We allow dogs in the bar area and the warehouse of the visiting areas but are not allowed in the small batch brewing area.

Free tasting of the beers and the museum is included.
They have a good restaurant as well.
