I certainly wasn’t expecting a Water Tower this large. The Murals were as good as I’ve seen anywhere else, very impressive.

Two towers telling the story of the people who left Hay to go to war. The information tablets will tell you everything you need to know about the people depicted and overall it is an informative history of how the war impacted this town.

These water towers have signs there explaining what they are about. Very informative. We were there during the floods, so reading everything on the signs and getting close to the towers, was a little difficult.

Great Artwork and great stories behind the art. The day we visited was wet so we could not get close due to the very muddy path and car park, Overall we loved the stories.

Lieutenant Lorna Margaret Whyte, Private Victor George Murray, Corporal Clifford Leslie Farlow, Private William 'George' Cannon and Private Norman Charles Flack feature on the artwork at this location. It is a a magnificent tribute to the servicemen and women of the region. There are information boards about each of the 'models' on the art.
Matt Last (Adnate) is one of street art's most influential big wall painters.The second artist for this work was Bill Campbell but I can't find information about him... whereas Adnate is well known to anyone who follows the Silo Art Trail.
The artwork on these towers is beautifully done ... they are eye-catching and well worth visiting. Hay just continues to add to it's attractions.

The art work is magnificent. The facial work is life like. So sad that the pictures depict young men going to war and not returning. If it was my son, I would be thrulled to be honoured in such a way.

Top marks to the artist who painted the water tower as memorials to ex-service men and women. It was interesting, creative and colourful. The five service people remembered by Matte Adante were, Lorna Whyte, Victor Murray, Clifford Farlow, William Cannon, and Norman Flack. A great job.

One of many great silo artworks around the country. All different but worth seeing. This one has both silos/towers covered in paint. Would recommend a visit.
Only problem for us today was that, out of the six signboards in front of the towers, only one had any information on it. It looked like they’d just been put in the ground so maybe that’s why? Disappointing to not know more about the people portrayed in the artwork.

We enjoyed the bike ride to see these water tanks. In fact we did an early morning ride and then a dusk ride to get each tank in good light for photos.
