I could see the spire for this as I walked along the main street of Hay so I took a walk in its direction to see what the church looked like. Indications are that there are services there, but alas that is not the case. I was able to look through a damaged window and the pews are covered in a heavy layer of dust that would indicate the church is no longer in use.
You can see the writing is on the wall for this church, in the next few years it will be sold privately and be converted ...but for now, it's a beautiful old church with gorgeous stained windows.
Services were started in Hay in 1868 by the Rev S A Hamilton, from Victoria. The church building was erected during his pastorate and opened in 1872 by Rev Dr Nish of Bendigo.
