We had a BRILLIANT morning on the whale watching cruise! Were extremely lucky and saw active whales up VERY close, as well as dolphins, seals and albatross. Brendan & Paula were incredibly warm, friendly, funny & engaging and really made the experience much more memorable. Thanks for a great trip guys! See you again soon.

We were looking forward to joining the Eco Tour with our friends that live locally and recommended the tour.
The trip was great for the first 45 minutes until the skipper decided to go out into the open seas.
He asked everyone to take their seats and head out of the bay into the open sea, it was immediately apparent that it was rough. After 5 minutes the boat hit a huge wave suspending everybody in mid air before crashing down. My husband bruised his leg and I hurt my back on landing and many others including our friends sustained bruising.
The ambulance met me on docking, but assured me my injuries were not serious even though I could hardly walk due to the pain. After a few days I had my back x-rayed to reveal a sustained fracture of the vertebrae, hence all the pain.
Basically the skipper misjudged the conditions causing this incident saying we hit a "rogue wave" but worse still after sending doctors invoices and Ambulance costs, Brendon the owner was totally unsympathetic and disinterested with my situation and now does not respond anymore to the ongoing costs I have incurred.

We booked a Eco tour, however, sneakily they decided to pop us on the Dolphin tour, and not tell us the truth. However, to be fair, they came clean, and offered us another trip, the one we paid for, which was the Eco one. After a few attempts and cancellations, we finally went on it yesterday. I have to say, it was FABULOUS! Worth the wait, the dramas the whole 10 yards! Our tour guide was great. We saw some amazingly beautiful scenes, we got exactly what we paid for, the beauty over there is 2nd to none! Thank you Wild Tours, I know I got stroppy with you guys, but you came good, and I would recommend this tour (tell them the little boat!), without any hesitation.

With a small group and excellent guides this is a must do when you visit Jervis Bay. We had the best part of 30 dolphins swim right up to us. Plenty of sightings for well over an hour. Cow, calves playing beside us-AMAZING JUST DO IT

It’s difficult to review - we took the 3 hour “eco boat tour” which circumnavigated the Bay. The booking was very simple, the staff were quite friendly. Getting to and boarding the boat was easy (although it would be a challenge for customers who have limited mobility to get on straight from the dock as we did).
What makes it difficult to rate is that we had terrible weather! First, there were no dolphins out on the day of our tour - but the captain and first mate did their darndest to find some, and to keep the passengers in good spirits in spite. As we got about 2/3rd of the way around the bay, though, a squall blew in. It was incredible how quickly it blew in and with what intensity. Winds felt like 40-50 mph to me. Rain was blowing horizontally, and the water was even more abundant because the wind was picking it up off the waves. It’s tough to rate simply because there wasn’t much to rate beyond the crew and boat.
Boat: the boat was quite comfortable to ride in. Nice seats, and there was a bulwark to keep the wind off. Unfortunately as the wind and rain picked up, we discovered that the zippered windows were broken and couldn’t be closed. It seems to me that this is a safety and customer experience factor that should be considered every time the boat is inspected. I was disappointed - we literally froze during the storm. Windy and wet, when with simply some good maintenance, we could have weathered it out quite comfortably.
Crew: the crew were amazingly customer focused. In the early part of the trip, the captain noticed a few of the children were really enjoying the front of the boat and the associated chop. With approval from the passengers, he gave them a really fun ride (and everyone was smiling). They used humor, patience, and empathy with all passengers and did their utmost to make us comfortable and satisfied in spite of the weather.
I bet on a sunny day with good wildlife to see, this is a great trip. I’d recommend it if the forecast is good. If the weather’s iffy... Save some money and just go see a movie in the little theater.

I took friends from the States on the Eco Tour last Thursday and we all had an amazing time. Jervis Bay is breathtakingly beautiful and even though it is the end of the whale migration season, we were lucky enough to see a mother and her calf playing in the water off Hyam’s Beach. Ken and Paula were great fun, professional and knowledgeable. We were also lucky enough to have a couple of locals on board who told us a lot about the Bay’s history and geography. A very memorable experience. I will definitely do this Tour again. Thanks Ken and Paula! 😀

Our group of 6 enjoyed the i day trip to find whales our captain of the boat was very informative with his knowledge of the whales we were looking for we came across a mother and her Bub which was very exciting a great day and well worth the mbey

Saw loads of them! Some very close to the boat. Excellent piloting and good description of local coastline by the Captain. Saw some seals as well. Very friendly staff.
