Great day out - T-shirt’s, shorts and thongs ok

We have been going here for several years now each January for the Moruya Cup. Always an awesome day out and casual attire is the norm. They also put on wood fired pizza and some seafood for lunch. Great fun day at the races!

Fun day out

Moruya races 1-5,30pm 7 january is very relaxed fun day out with local races plenty of food and drinks, great atmosphere and a great crowd. No restrictions on dress code so come as u please ..some dress up and some not..it doesnt matter.the grounds are lovely and you can organise a tent on the lawns and bring a picnic. It has become an annual event on our calendar while holidaying at the south coast.

If you are in the south coast region and holidaying, I can more than recommend a day out at the Moruya races. Check the website for buses, although at least one pub in town runs a bus. Pack a picnic and go, but you cannot take your own alcohol. Plenty of room and good for families and kids. It is country racing at its best.
