“超棒的景色”

美丽的海湾景色。这里有两个观景台。一个是俯瞰沙丘，和一个高一些的俯瞰海湾。很好走。大概几英里。

fantastic views

fantastic views of the Karuah river and Port Stephens. you can drive virtually to the top leaving a short walk & fairly easy climb to the summit viewpoint, with another viewpoint next to the carpark looking out to sea

Must Do for Views

2023年7月

We were advised by friends that this was a must do lookout and we weren't disappointed!!! We were awestruck with the amazing 180 degree views of the beautiful Pacific and Nelson Bay and surrounding bush. Easy access too, just park at the carpark and it's an easy walk.

Awesome view

Great place to look out not much to do beee but that, steep drive up but worth the swear from fear lol. Was able to show the kids areas and places we be visiting for our 3 days visit, accommodation was on the same road so was good stop before checking in

A lovely lookout if you don't want to climb Mt Tomaree

Gan Gan Lookout is a good alternative if you don't want to climb to the top of Mt Tomaree. It is not as spectacular as Mt Tomaree, but you can drive right up to it and see the sweeping vista of Port Stephens.

Not suitable for caravans or campervans

Lovely views, very popular spot, only a short walk from the small car park. The road up although short, is very windy and very narrow. Did not know it was unsuitable for a campervan until we had started on the road

Nice quick tourist thing to do

Short drive up a big hill to get to a beautiful view of the area. Small car park abs short walk to the actual view point. I like how there’s been good signage of what view of our where. Not somewhere you would spend a long time though, just a quick thing to do.

Wonderful views over this impressive coastline

2022年11月

I was on my way south after having spent a couple of days over in Shoal Bay and took the road signposted off towards the Gan Gan Lookout. The relatively short, windy road lead up to a small car park, which on the morning in question was practically empty.

The walk from this car park to the Lookout area is short. And from the top you get wonderful all round views of this magnificent coastline. Certainly worth the short detour to enjoy such natural beauty.
