I've eaten here several times in the past and always enjoyed both the food and the location so it was very disappointing to have such a negative experience. My beer was half flat (the glass was full of foam after the first pour) but I didn't say anything at the time, these things happen. I ordered a medium-well steak which didn't look right on the plate and once I cut it open it was still bleeding- not even close to MW. I complained about that (and the beer) and received a refund for the meal (I had quite lost my appetite by this stage) but no apology was forthcoming. My companion enjoy her chicken dish otherwise this would be a one-star review.

really nice club food. drinks at club bar prices. we had seafood chowder which was great, and linguine puttanesca which was excellent. reasonable menu and daily specials board. well priced

I had booked this in advance of my trip and all my dealings with the Pro Shop had been brilliant. When I arrived at the Pro Shop the gentleman in the shop was very pleasant, happy to help and made everything run smoothly. I got my rental clubs, buggy and off I went. The course is an Aussie Parkland type of affair, wide fairways with plenty of trouble awaiting wayward shots. The bunkering was great, plenty of them, with good sand in them. The greens run true and fast and I struggled with the speed of them but that did not detract from the round. The green complex's were excellent and a few three putts were in evidence.
Saw a few Kangaroos in my round which only enhanced the round. There was a bit of water about fortunately I never found this. This was a really excellent experience all round and a fun, challenging golf course.
After the round the gentleman came out to enquiry after my round and gave me a ball marker as a token of my day at Yamba.
I did not stay for a drink after but if in the area I would defiantly play the course again.

Christmas Lunch…Another wonderful Christmas lunch..Lots of prawns, oysters, smoked salmon, and an array of other dishes…Brendon looked after us so well, thank you..we will, no doubt, return next year…

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at this venue, with a beautiful view over the golf course. With one end of the restaurant open, birds came to visit. We enjoyed the Chowder, so tasty.

Well presented and welcoming club to visitors to Yamba.
Friendly staff and delightful dining area with lovely views of the golf course. Very comfortable seating and well arranged tables for large and small groups.
Lunch menu with great variety of meals.
Our meal choices were Pork Belly stir fry with Noodles and Garlic prawns with rice and side salad, so delicious.
Highly recommend calling in when in Yamba.

We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was exceptional. We had the braised lamb shank and salmon dish. They were presented beautifully and tasted even better. Highly worth the visit.

Christmas Lunch….so much more than I was expecting, and then some…Lots of food, the staff were excellent, We are two seniors, with no near close family, lunch at home can be lonely…We were delighted to have a two person table, though to have all the other people around us, made our Christmas Day…Thank you Golf Club, you excelled…the staff were incredible, and made us so welcome…🎅🏼🎅🏼🎅🏼🎅🏼🎅🏼

What a disappointment! We have visited the Yamba golf club several times over the last few years but things have gone terribly wrong. The restaurant has undergone a full renovation which is clean but lacks atmosphere. It seems like a business waiting room rather than a restaurant. The food was shockingly terrible. Words can’t even express how disappointed our guests were. No tapas available which was sad to see. Our friends were hoping to have a veal dish they had one other time but no such luck. The menu has gone back to basics and quality has gone out the window. The stand out was a crispy beef salad, however the other meals were bland, cheap and nasty. Seafood chowder with packet marinara mix was a disgrace. Wait times weren’t too bad and service was friendly for the young girls in the restaurant. Bar staff were rude, grumpy and really don’t want to be there. The new golf professional was very kind and we are thinking about dusting off the clubs and taking some lessons. All in all a mixed review but the food really needs to be looked at. Good luck

Interesting menus with great food combinations. I had the duck leg with procutto wrapped asparagus, fennel and Dukakis. Really tasty
