We did the "Route 2" 8+ mile Kayak trip from Watsonville back to Bic's. Had checked with a couple of other places that were water level challenged this time of year and they only had shorter trips available. Since Bic's is on the Susquehanna river no worries about water level. Good for first timers as there isn't much challenge to the river so it was a pretty leisurely ride down the river. We took the narrow lane every chance we could as otherwise the river is pretty straight and monotonous. Took 4 hrs but that included a 45 min stop and we took our time. If you are looking for a challenging trip on the water this isn't it. That was the only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars.
The staff at Bic's was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The told us the local place to eat afterwards which was a great recommendation.
