Horrible! We prepaid for tickets, just to have to wait in line for an hour and a half, missing our time. So we didn’t need to pay extra to have a ticket. Rude employees. Not worth the money at all

I have been going to Sleepy Hollow (Active Acres) for Halloween fun for over a decade. This is BY FAR the best haunted house I have ever been to. The production is professionally done, the haunted house actually tells a story, and the experience lasts longer than expected. Where other haunted houses rely on cheap jump scares, the one done by Midnight Productions theatre company uses quality installations and professional acting. There are so many details that you can go through the house multiple times and have a slightly different experience each time.
The hayride is less scary and more suited to children, with fewer scenes that are more spread out. Still a very fun time and worth doing! I have never done the third attraction, the maze.
After doing one or all three attractions, you can relax by the bonfire with a cup of hot chocolate or hot apple cider.
This is a working farm, so wear boots or sturdy shoes.
The hayride is less scary and more suited to children, with fewer scenes that are more spread out. Still a very fun time and worth doing! I have never done the third attraction, the maze.

They produce an excellent experience.I was lucky it was a warm night but they supply lovely warm blankets for colder weather. You travel at a slow speed under the stars going thru the entire farm. It was a memorable experience and advice several friends to go with their husbands. No matter how long you are married it's nice to "unplug" for awhile.

My Girlfriend and I attended this venue for a Haunted Hayride with our Meetup Group.
It's been years since I've done this type of thing. The actors, etc. put a lot of effort into trying to entertain everyone. It does need a little more improvement in the following areas.
1. Tractor needs to slow down a bit more when near scenery and stages. Hard to take it all in at times.
2. The wagons need seating arrangement improved. You are facing one side, and it's a bit difficult to turn your body around to see opposite side while you are bouncing along.
Afterward we gathered at a bonfire for fun and socialization with our group which numbered 50+. The place is neat, organized, friendly, and an overall good time. I would definitely come again.

The haunted house is amazing, very well done, excellent props, superb movie quality set in a genuinely spectacular very old house. My recommendations to check it out every Halloween for family fun. 👍

A quintessential Bucks County farm. Experience it while you still can. Farms like this disappear in Upper Makefield due to the high land value. Hayrides, pumpkin picking and music in the Fall season.

We drove 1and 1/2 hours for this attraction and paid $75.00 for 2 combo passes and one hayride. It was the lamest haunted attraction we have ever been too. It was not worth the time or money!

My disabled mother and I called ahead to make sure the coupons we got would apply to the hayride, they said they would because of our circumstances, we get there and then they refuse to accept them, the young lady at the register was so incredibly rude and unprofessional, she refused to let us speak to the manager, we tried to talk with another staff who just passed us on to another who passed us on to another extremely rude old man who said he couldn't work with coupons at all and tried to send us back to the original woman, we decided the five extra dollars without the coupons would have been fine but at that point we refused to stay because of the unbelievable rude staff, would not recommend to anyone, would NEVER go to again. Highly disappointing

Really a great spot for pumpkin picking with the family. The pumpkins are still on the vine! This is rare in NJ where we live. Atmosphere is amazing with mountains in the background. This is now a family tradition for us. Staff is friendly! They even offer pony rides for $5! Parking is only $2 and goes to farm preservation. Lots of farm animals to see! Kids absolutely loved it!

We've been going here for a few years now. We can't find anything as good as this place, but may soon have to find a different place since it is becoming soo expensive!
