Visiting Pittsburgh for a 30th birthday party with family and friends. Stopped in as other reviews said it was a fun place. Was a nice stop to have a few beers and relax and the bartender was very friendly and accommodating. Only negative side was there was a 'local' who was not happy we showed up with a group of 8 and had to sit near him. But would recommend a stop if you are in the area and want a quick break and cocktail.

This is our favorite sandwich shop in Pittsburgh. We love the variety of sandwiches and the soup was very good as well.

Great service. Interesting bar menu. Inexpensive drinks. Nice casual atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place for quick bite or cocktail.

Fantastic menu. very unique. Bicycles hang from the ceiling. We had some great wraps and shrimp tacos were great. Great place for lunch and dinner.

Great place for a burger and a beer. They have something for every one, your traditional burgers to your non- traditional burgers. the decor very non traditional. Love the artwork on the bathroom walls. the prices are very affordable and you get your money worth. Love the banana seat burger maybe not for every one, but you will find one for your taste. love the variety and range of the menu. Loved the crowd a little of every one, not just one group of people of all legal ages of course lol

Great beer selection and a good solid, but unique menu. The food is consistently good. The bicycle themed bar/restaurant attracts a cycling friendly, if somewhat hipster crowd that is always fun to interact with.

My husband and I ate here for dinner. Being bicyclists ourselves, we very much enjoyed the bicycle-themed decor, and the menu offered many interesting choices. Our visit did not start of well, but did improve. Upon arrival, were told to sit wherever we wanted and waited a good 10-15 minutes or so before anyone came over to take our drink order. We overheard some comments from the servers that lead us to believe that some of them were a bit disgruntled, and found out later on that one server had a broken arm (was still working, but presumably was not able to perform all typical duties), and someone else was out. We are reasonable people, but that plus the fact that we had to wait so long for someone to notice us gave us a "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea" feeling. However, when we were finally waited on, our orders were put in right away and our food was ready in a flash. We didn't order anything complicated...husband had a burger and I had a chicken salad, but we were still impressed by the speed in which we received our food. The "Cog Salad," I have to say (grilled chicken, hard boiled egg, leafy greens, blue cheese, carrots, tomatoes...I skipped the bacon, with balsamic dressing) was EXTREMELY good. Being that we were in Pittsburgh, I threw a few fries from my husband's plate on top, and that made it even better! Our server came back to check on us and even chatted a bit, so that plus the fact that I was delighted with my salad (and the fries are great, too!), made up for the slow and questionable start. I will be back for another Cog Salad, for sure.

Great arty little café, complete with interesting cycle related art. Super friendly servers, helped orient us to other great neighbourhoods in Pittsburgh. Great lunch food, really enjoyed the daily soup made with fresh ingredients from local farms. Worth going out of your way for. If you drive a Hummer you'll feel out of place here.
