Bike ready right in time, was in great shape, and included lock, helmet, and flat kit (which luckily was not needed). Immediate access to Great Allegheny Passage made it super convenient for a day rental.

My wife and I have had the GAP and C&O Canal bike ride on our bucket list for a long time. We went through Meyersdale PA in June 2023 and met a family of riders who used GTBR for their bikes and lodging arrangements. They spoke highly of their experience so I contacted GTBR last fall and started setting up our ride. We used our own bikes but had GTBR make all the overnight lodging arrangements and to shuttle our overnight suitcase from place to place. The entire experience with GTBR was flawless! The accommodations were final, and our overnight suitcase was waiting for us every night! We stayed at my sister's condo in DC at the end of the trip, and GTBR delivered our suitcase to her condo; no problem! GTBR gave us a great summary for our itinerary and we used it every day to find food and to get into our lodging. They also sent text messages during the trip to inform us of some details for the B&B's along the way. I highly recommend GTBR!

I can’t say enough about the quality bikes that we rented from Golden Triangle Bikes. All the staff members that I interacted with were professional, curious and extremely helpful. The day we picked the bikes up, we went over everything from top to bottom. And the saddlebags, wow I didn’t have to take anything on my back thanks to those big saddlebags, and what a gift to be able to drop the bikes off in Washington DC after starting off in Pittsburgh. It doesn’t get any better than that! I can’t recommend Golden Triangle Bikes enough!!

Golden Triangle did a fabulous job scheduling and coordinating our Great Allegany bike trip. Everyone at Golden triangle is helpful and professional. I would highly recommend using their services for your next adventure.

Our group of friends have done yearly cycling trips for over 25 years. This year we chose to cycle the Gap trail and used Golden Triangle to rent our bikes. We have never had this level of service before. The staff had our bikes ready and waiting for us, made fit adjustments and had us on our way in record time. Our bikes were great - no problems whatsoever. Well done Golden Triangle!

What a find! Golden Triangle Bikes is conveniently located right next to the trail. The parking garage was steps away so it was easy to get to their location. The service was top notch. They had the rental bikes set up and waiting for our arrival. They gave clear details about the bike’s features and were able to make final height adjustments quickly so we were able to bike right away. Loved the bikes. There were of high quality so made for a great ride and the attached storage bags were so useful. Highly recommend GTB! We didn’t use their trip planning services this time but we’ll definitely be using them next time when we return to the area.

We used Golden Triangle Bike Rental for our recent Pittsburgh to Washington DC bike tour on the GAP and C&O Canal path. It was easy to set the rental up and on the start day of our tour, a staff member at the shop did a great job at getting us set up on our bikes. This was the first bicycle tour for my wife and they were great at setting up her bike for optimal comfort and showed her how everything worked. This really put her mind at ease, and mine. It was so convenient that their rental location is adjacent to the bike trail too.
When we arrived in DC, the drop off location was convenient and easy to find as well. We enjoyed taking a last spin around the monuments on the way to the drop off point.
They made this entire process incredibly easy and I'd highly recommend Golden Triangle for a day ride or multi-day tour. Get out and ride!

The four of us, me, my wife, my brother and his wife decided in August to do the GAP and C&O in mid September but were frustrated by our inability to find lodging so we turned to Golden Triangle for help. It was a wise choice. They set up the lodging from Baltimore to DC, the return shuttle with our bikes, and helpful tips for places to eat and things to do along the way. They were a great and much appreciated help!

We rented bikes to ride the GAP Trail Pittsburgh to Cumberland and the C and O Canal Trail from Cumberland to Washington DC. The bikes we got were almost new and fully fitted out (racks, panniers, helmets, lock, repair stuff). They performed beautifully over our 12 day ride. We had no problems with them at all.
On the day of rental the service was excellent. Our bikes were ready to go and the guy helped us get our own seats and rearview mirrors fitted. He made sure the bikes were adjusted properly for us.
We left our airline bags with them and they were waiting for us at the end in DC where we returned our bikes completely hassle free.
We would most definitely be going back to GTB for bikes.

I can’t say enough good things about the GAP trail and C & O towpath riding experience. Golden Triangle put the whole package together at a very reasonable price. Our luggage was transported promptly each day. We also used the shuttle from DC back to Pittsburgh. Accommodations along the way were superb! We stayed mostly at B&Bs, all of which have amazing hosts who truly care about providing a comfortable stay. I cannot say enough good things about Dana at Golden Triangle. The information she provided for each day’s ride was excellent, informative and accurate. I had virtually no unanswered questions about what each day would bring. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Does this company shuttle. Biking party of 2 need transportation from West Newton, to Connellsville PA on September 26 or 27th. Then we will bike back to West Newton. We have our own bikes. Cost also. If not any suggestions on whom to use.Thank You

The best way to contact them is to call. I don't know if it's possible to rent a bike and drop off at a different location. Just ask them.
