The actual waterpark is enjoyable it’s not huge so definitely manageable with smaller children. I recently went with a 7 & 4 yr old & 7 month old. You really only need 1 or 2 nights there. The kids had fun. My issue is this new parking fee they tacked on ( not included when booking) so very sneaky. Other water parks, like Kalahari- which is right up the road ( & more fun in my opinion ) don't have a parking fee. I wouldnt mind a small fee but it’s $20 a night for a HUGE lot. It’s a total money grab. We stayed at the PA location.

My family went for my grandson’s Birthday. First, I was doubled charged just over $42.00 for parking 2 vehicles.
I paid the $42 on site & another $42 was billed to my credit card. I was also charged a parking fee for a 3rd suite I had, but made it clear at check in there were only 2 vehicles. I’ve spent hours on the phone trying to reach billing & the very rude agent told me,
“It’s very hard to get through to billing”. He was rude & frustratihg, bur he was correct as I’m still waiting for a return call from billing. No resolution or returned funds as of yer.
The “Free wifi” advertised did not work. No apology for wifi not working the entire stay.
I’m vision impaired so preferred check in with an agent. The agent seemed to be deliberately slow.
There were only 2 people ahead of me and it was still took 50 minutes to check in. The rooms are spacious, but very dim. Not much extra linen/pillows for the sofa bed.
The park was not. Pools should be resurfaced though. I loved the outdoor hotvtub. The kids loved the slides & wave pool.
I could have dealt with the other negatives if they hadn’t charged a total of over $105 for patking 2 vehicles. Hoping someone calls ro reimburse the double parking charges, but it’s been a couple of days and I can't reach anyone that can help.
If you go, anticipate double parking fees, bring extra lighting & don’t expect wifi.

We were at @GreatWolfLodge Poconos yesterday. They sent a text at 9:30am saying the water park would re-open between 2-3, then at 3 sent another saying it would be closed all day. Offered 50% off a future stay, which is basically equivalent to a Groupon. So glad we took off from work and pulled the kids from school to listen to the same story time on repeat and watch Encanto on a screen they could barely see. Do better Great Wolf and provide the "level 10" service you say you want. Women fighting/cursing in the guest service line in front of my 1 and 3 year old (and a ton of other kids) because the staff wasn't helping was just awful.

There are different slides appropriate for each age group. The pools and slides had a lot of supervisors.

The Great Wolf Hotel has so many activities to offer that we never got bored. Our room was perfect for a big family, and the water park was great.

We just got back from are trip to Mason Ohio. Staff was great as usually. Pools clean and room was excellent. But no one told us now its $15.00 a night to park. Surprise as I was. We use to go 2-3 times a year. Now were looking for other things to do. They charge resort fee and now parking fee. Very sad that people have to pay for something that s simple as parking. Use to rate this 5 stars can't do it anymore. We've been going for 10 years.

We went to GW over the Presidents Day Weekend. Full disclosure I was expecting it to be busy and crowded. We arrived on Sunday and stayed until Tuesday. This was my first experince as Grandmom of a 10 year old visiting the resort. We were a party of 3 , myself, my daughter and my grandson. Right from our arrival there was no place to park and when we pulled up to drop luggage there were no carts to be found. Had to go inside and upstairs and find one in a hallway? Check in was fine and I must say the staff were very nice. The room was ok, pretty beat up but clean. The toilet had and issue and was running most of the first night. The waterpark was so crowded that there was no chairs until around 1:30 PM ( park opens at 10). People line up to go in and snag the chairs and nobody is watching or assisting in helping the paying customer to find a chair. We had dinner at one of the nice resturants and the first course of cornbread we ordered came cold. The waiter was gracious and sent it back , still was not as hot as I would have liked but ok. Otherwise the food was ok. We went to the bar after and had and additional drink and waited 45 minutes to be asked if we wanted another. Needless to say at that point we just wanted the check and that took another 30 minutes.
I am not the kind of person that is just complaining because I am old and don't like the kids. It is just the opposite, I love watching the kids have fun but when you pay 1200 for 2 nights at a resort and you can't find a chair to sit on at the pool?
We have done all the other resorts (Camelback, Hershey, Kahari) and have not had an experince like this.
I sent a review to the resort and never heard one work back!! Never again!

Here currently and want to check out early. Light switch in room was broken and needed repair. Found a goldfish in my sofa bed. A piece of hardware in the jacuzzi in my room was broken. Not enough chairs at the water park- I got to the water park early and put my stuff on 3 chairs. Someone came later and moved my stuff. When I went back to the chairs and sat in the chair I put my stuff on earlier on the person was very passive aggressive and got in my face and said “you’re welcome you guys enjoy these seats.” I was afraid for my safety because you never know these days and left the water park immediately. I was looking for a safe fun relaxing weekend with my husband and 3 year old for my birthday and thought it was run down, dirty, and had some rude and inconsiderate patrons. Staff was very friendly and I thought food prices were some what reasonable. 1000$ for 2 nights is definitely not worth it.

We booked this trip a few months ago and it said they had free parking. When we went to check in they said that they just changed their parking policy2 weeks ago. They made me pay for parking before I was allowed to check in. It was $15 to park my car there even though I rented a room. You have to check the towels in the water park in and out. If you lose one or forget to check one in it is $15 a towel. There are lockers and that was nice but they are in the middle of the isle ways in the water park. It is hard to get you stuff in and out with everybody walking past. I will not be coming back.

They encourage you to use a kiosk to check in. Which in theory should be easy. However, when we went to get on into our room with four kids and luggage, no access. So we had to go all the way back down to the front desk to find out there was no customer service for people who are already checked in. So we had to wait in an hour line for traditional check in anyway. My advice to you is just do traditional when you get there otherwise you can wait in long lines two times.
The water park was great but a little confusing the kiosk for the lockers assigns you a random number. I walked all around and couldn't find it and when I went to the information desk where it says information and towels on the sign the man says I don't do that. So I when one another Journey to find the locker.
We took advantage of a 24-hour flash deal so we got a really good price I would never pay full price. We really like the add-on breakfast the next day that was very good. The room was lovely, except for the lamp didn't work, and the phone to call the front desk didn't work. Once you get an idea of how things flow I think it is easier, but for anyone who's there for the first time you kind of are on your own to figure things out.
