We took the drive up and it was well maintained and easy to maneuver. Picnic areas, bathrooms, and tower viewers were all waiting for us. The weather was not in our favor that day (on and off rain showers) but still made for gorgeous views.

What a beautiful park! Thank you, Pennsylvania, for protecting it from commercial development. It has 360 degree view in parking lot 2, right at the summit. The park's outhouses are there and were clean with plenty of supplies. (Short walk up there from both lot 3 and 4.) We did the Indian Loop Trail off of parking lot 4. Trail was clearly marked with orangy/red blazes and led to a pretty open spot for a great view. Hiking shoes and a hiking stick are suggested as the trail is uneven with rocks. Lots of picnic tables everywhere.

Others might enjoy hiking here but we just drove up to this park at sunset to see the view only. With few clouds, the sunset is unspectacular. The view of the surrounding countryside is quite hazy. It is only when I used Photoshop to enhance the pictures afterwards that I realized that there were actually some nice fall foliage, but in person, the view was drab.

The views were incredible! We also loved the benches throughout the paths.
I can’t give it more stars because there was a lot of trash near the picnic area and it lacked trash cans in that space. I know people are people and some do not respect our parks as they should (shame on them), but there must be some maintenance knowing that will happen. I couldn’t dispose of others trash because there were no receptacles and I had no bags on me.

The views are amazing. We did what I believe was called the south trail, around 3 miles. I think it was roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes. Take notice of the warning regarding Rattle Snakes depending on the season you go. We only encountered a Garter. I think because it was 85 degrees, no call for snakes to sun on the trails.

Enjoyed a hike on the Indian Trail. Great views, right from the parking lot. Neat mushrooms and a salamander.

Drove up to the park on a local recommendation. There was good viewing at the top to the east- not much any other direction. Plenty of parking at the top (parking lot 2). Also drove the rim road although with the follage not a clear long distance view.

You can drive right up to the view which is outstanding. My family and I took the Indian trail which was great for us. You can see camelback and great wolf lodge from the trails. Stop at Barley Creek for some great food.

nice park clean . you can see three states from the top mountain laurel and other vegetation . also possible to see timber rattlers in the area [ that's what the sign said any way and they are protected in pa .] . a lot of it paved near the parking area so wheel chair accessible the hiking trails look pretty steep .great views .they have a restroom . and a small museum when its open

You can drive up to the top of the mountain and park. The area is flat with picnic tables so you can walk around or push a stroller. There are some trails (but you won't find a better view than the parking lot). There is also a restaurant on the mountain w/ a great view. We ate at Barley Creek just a few minutes away in the same area as the park and it was really great. Good food, flat screen TV's to catch a game & a large selection of beer made right there.

Very easy hiking trails near overlook #2. You can even walk on the road if you prefer for great overlooks.
