My wife and I went to Camelbeach on Day 2 of our Camelback stay (Day 1 was Aquatopia), and it was super great! Tons of slides, tons of beach chairs, tons of food and drink options, and the chairlift to the top offered such great views! The staff members were also amazing, especially Kathy and Greg at the VIP chair booth! They were the best! :)

I wasn't expecting much, but I had a great time. The food is all affordable and the Pina coladas as well. The only thing I didn't enjoy were the bees. I would go again

Went the first week of August with 2 young kids and had such a great time. Our kids loved each and every slide. I cannot say enough about how nice of an outdoor water park this is for the area/the northeast. Highly recommend getting a cabana! The kids have already asked us to book another trip for next summer.

My 12-year-old grandson wanted to go on the chair lift ride, but when we got to the platform he was really scared. The staff and manager, Ryan, went above and beyond to encourage him, answer all his many questions, and demonstrate getting on and off. It took about half an hour and Ryan even offered him ice cream and whatever he wanted. Ryan ended up riding up and down the mountain with us and took my grandson for ice cream afterwards! Amazing! Thank you so much guys!

The weather policy on their website states “Our state of the art weather alert system is for your safety, while our weather warranty will guarantee your satisfaction. While we don’t offer a refund on tickets, we do make your visit risk free by assuring you that if we must suspend operations due to lightning in the area for more than 90 minutes, no later than 2 hours before park closure, we can reactivate your Camelbeach ticket for another day in the same operating season.” We read this before booking our tickets and chose an 80 degree day with no rain in the forecast - as we had traveled more than 1,200 miles to attend this park. At 3:30pm operations closed due to lightning. We inquired with staff about options and were told they needed to be closed for 90 minutes consecutively and the current delay only went until 4:00pm. At 4:30 they shut down again until park closed at 6:00pm. We spent much of that time in guest services hoping they would give us some option to get just a few more hours in. “After 4:00 we don’t…” So they opened for a couple minutes between 3:30-6:00pm so policy not in effect. I didn’t once hear “What can we do to help make this right?” just a lot of “Our policy….” We only have a few days here, so even though we planned our lodging to be as close as possible to Camelback without staying at the lodge itself, we will not be spending any more of our money at this facility.

Our family had a wonderful day at Camel Beach. There was lots to do for my 9, 8 and 4 year olds, the facilities were very clean and the customer service was excellent- everyone was friendly and helpful. I initially booked the wrong date and we were helped quickly by a personable and professional associate to change that. I highly recommend Camel Beach!

Hello. I just wanted to say that my visit to Camelback Water Park, today was great. What made it great was that I was able to talk to a security guard in Spanish and it made me feel comfortable. I am happy that there was someone who explained things to me in my native language. He knew what he was doing. He is very nice!! Excellent job Camelback for having someone to speak Spanish and who is professional. I think his name is Joseph.

We bought the family 12 pack of tickets. We had adults, teenagers, and some children. The water park had something for everyone. The water slides were really fun. The lazy river was nice and relaxing. They had many options for food including barbecue and Mexican. Make sure that you wear water shoes because the full ground is really really hot.

We had a fantastic time! We went on a Monday and there were virtually no lines and plenty of places to sit without purchasing special seats or a cabana.
There were great food options (not just fried food) that included some food trucks.
Super friendly staff!
I would suggest wearing water shoes because the ground is rough on your feet at spots and you will do a decent amount of walking in between each slide/attraction.
Overall, great value for the money. It was wonderful to be outside instead of at an indoor waterpark and we will absolutely be going back!

I know you can’t bring your own food but a friend said you use to be able to reserve a table right outside the gate where you can leave your cooler etc.. is this still an option

You can only bring in one 20 ounce water per person and you can rent cabanas but they are expensive that’s the only reserved seating or storage space.

Are the arranged seats always in groups of 4, so if we reserve 3 there will be a 4th that is vacant or might a stranger get the 4th chair? Or do they only group them in as many as you reserve? Thanks in advance for any answers!

What are the rest/seating areas like, outside of renting a cabana? We love the idea of a spot that’s just for us, but they seem way overpriced! Anyone have any tips or recommendations on this topic?

We did the reserved seating by the wave pool. It was 25 a person and there was a waitstaff to take food and drink orders. I would recommend, we were able to social distance there. Chairs came with covers and a towel to use for the day.

This depends on group size and if you want to ride a lot. If you are a large(r) party a cabana works well and/or if you don't want to ride many slides. If you want to ride a bunch of slides, most chance you don't want to be stuck in a cabana. *Note* unless you pre-purchased tickets I encourage you to read my review, camelbeach did a HORRIBLE job with COVID. It's up to you but I wouldnt recommend it, Hersheypark has a smaller water park yet the park is much better overall.
