Super fun. Hills were fast. Grandkids loved it. Had s'mores by the fire. Wonderful meal after in their restaurant.

Had a great couple of hours with my 3 girls. All of the employees were very kind and helpful. It was the first day of the season so I was very impressed with how well everything went. Can’t wait to go back

Horrific experience. Drove over an hour to the facilities after purchasing tickets for the 5-10 pm time slot and was shocked to learn they had closed early because "nobody showed up". How do you sell tickets and then close three hours early??? Still waiting for a refund. Completely unprofessional.

Bought tickets in advance because we wanted a fun weekend tubing trip and Round Top was sold out. Pre-paid over $100 for a family of three. Totally and completely not worth the money! We had to traverse mud to get into "line" - a mob of mostly maskless people packed together. As we stood in this mob for 10, 15 , 20 minutes - and watched the people tubing slowly go part-way down the hill and then walk the remainder of the way, we decided to go get ice cream instead. We left without making a single tubing run. No matter how you spell it - there is nothing express about AvalancheXpress. Also, there is SO MUCH trash in the shrubbery around the parking lot and line area - not a good look, Heritage Hills! Don't waste your time or money on this outing!

Need Better staff, more efficient way to manage lines. Also lanes are painfully slow- more like slopes for kids 10 and under.

FAR too many tickets are sold for the few tubing lanes they have. We went down three times in an hour and 40 minutes and when went to the end of the line for the fourth time it was almost to the road. Not worth that much waiting.

Since I got an email asking me to “rate my experience” here you go, Avalanche.
On 01/01/20, in the early morning hours, we purchased tickets online and selected a day and time.
I was looking on their Facebook on our drive there and noticed they closed yesterday due to rain. There was absolutely no closure notice on their website. Just to be safe, 40 minutes into ourdrive, We called only to learn they’re closed due to weather.
They also are not willing to offer us a refund, but instead told us we can use our tickets within the next year.
They stated, our tickets are not for a certain day or time, even through we had to select day/time to purchase them. What? Further telling us “they know it’s confusing”.
Beyond frustrating and disappointing. I recommend keeping your website updated and blocking dates that you’re closed from purchase.

My husband and I checked the website that weekend since the temperature was warm for February. Things were in full swing. We rechecked early Monday morning before our trip the website still said the tubing was open. We packed all the gear and left for our trip over an hour away. Our reservation was for 2 days of tubing, ice shaking and our hotel for the night. As we were picking up our kids from school I looked up the address to plug into the gps and the website then said tubing was closed. I called the reservation line and was immediately asked if I wanted to cancel my trip. My response was no, I was packed and ready to go, took off work and planned this very fun family trip. I wanted to speak to someone who could help me. I then talked to another person who quickly transferred me to someone else. Everyone who I spoke to was rude and just wanted to push me off to someone else. I then had my husband speak to the FOUTH person who said they could offer to have the manager call us back. 10 minutes later, the manager did not call us, it was the same person who we spoke to before who said he could cancel today’s reservation and offer us another day to come. At that point it was far too late... we were already on our way, packed with all the snow gear, etc. I asked if they could refund us the money that we spent on snow tubing and keep our hotel reservation but that wasn’t possible.
It was extremely frustrating. We ended up canceling our trip with them and went else where just 15 extra minutes away and had a fantastic time. We got a hotel with a pool and tubing for one night for the same price. I would/will never recommend going to this destination.

Slopes lacking snow on bottom part of slope wven though it was cold they were not blowing snow. With a snow machine visable, I thought that was ridiculous considering you pay full price and not being able to tube the entire slope. After teying to make the best of the condition of the slope, we went to the manager and asked to receive a refund or a credit voucher to return. The manager would not accomodate us. His answer was, "That is why the ticket is for all day" Rude and unaccomodating management
I would not recommend this place. I would only hate to see the treatment of someone gets hurt!! Whole experience was disappointing

My two sons and I had a nice Presidents' Day trip here. It was warm, so the snow wasn't super-fast, but it's a nice place with a couple of places to eat on site and very nice staff.
