Of all the trolleys and golf carts tooling around the island my favourite is the solar powered taxi. Thank you for sparing us the filth and noise of a gas engine.

Open seating and great service. When forced to park over by the boat landing, you can ride with these folks and not end up sweaty and nasty from the long walk to the beach area. I rode with some other folks, and the price ended up being very reasonable. And you get to see the bars and restaurants up close so you can return to the ones you found interesting, as the traffic makes everything move at a snail's pace. OK when you are at the beach.

timely pickup and they said they would be around to take us back. They were unreachable at 11pm thought they claimed they would be open until 2am. put us in a bind. also, it was expensive as the charge is per person and we were all at one location headed to one location

We use the taxi to go to dinner one night. We had 7 people with us and the taxi for us all. I gave them a call and set up a time and they were at our beach house on time. It doesn't cost a lot. Will use this service next time we are in folly beach.

He picked us up from our beach house on the far end of Folly, drove us to center street and told us where we would have the most fun. The guy was friendly and reliable. The fare is inexpensive.

I recently needed a ride to the Folly Wahine Classic at the washout from the pier. Golden Sun Taxi picked me up in less than 10 minutes. We made arrangements for Matt to pick me up when I was done. He was really prompt, pleasant and professional. When I got home, I realized I had left my boogie board at the washout. A few calls later Matt had my board in his trunk where it stayed until I could get back to the beach a few days later. What awesome service. Right? Way more than required.

We had a group of 11 people hanging out in Folly Beach this past weekend and were about 6 blocks away from the main road with all the action. These guys picked us up multiple times per day and were always friendly and affordable. It beat the heck out of walking back and forth as much as we were down on Center Street eating and hanging out.
