We did both the parasailing and jetski for one hour… and we HIGHLY recommend both!! Jeb was one of our guides for parasailing and the photos he took were awesome! Jenna was our guide for jetskiing and she was very professional and it was a blast. Would book again.

A definite must-do when visiting Charleston! We had a great time and were able to see dolphins and get up close to different historical places in the harbor. Gavin was a great tour guide! I would recommend this to everyone!

Four young adults ( One teen and three 20-23) rode. Only one had gone before that day and they told the girl on the barge. She took off way ahead and then criticized that they were going very slow. Basically they were going in large circles. The girl at the drop off point said someone would take pictures of the jet skiers and we could purchase. Girl on barge said her camera was broken? Really? Easy to book but maybe Charleston location wasn’t the right way to go.

Thanks for letting us know about the mix up. Our guides use those cameras everyday in a very harsh environment. The cameras sometimes get wet or just need a tune up. Sorry it happened on your trip. The girl you're referring to has had her camera fixed!
If you come out again we will be sure to offer you a deep discount and free picture packages.

A group of my friends and I went parasailing for the first time a few weeks ago and had the best time! Jeb and Preston were the best guides we could have asked for and they made all of us feel super safe in the air. I would go 100 more times just for the laughs and experience. Definitely check it off your bucket list in Charleston if you're thinking about going! 10/10 recomend the pictures they take too.

We had so much fun jet skiing today! Safe and easy instruction. Parking outside the marina on the road was not a problem for us. Gavin was a great guide. Riding up to the USS Yorktown as spectacular! Rode with lots of dolphins!

We Did the 90 min jet ski harbor adventure tour, and loved every minute of it! There was time at the beginning and end to do some freestyle riding! The tour made it interesting. Our guide was great and took great pictures for us at each stop which we got to purchase at the end—and for a very reasonable price! We will definitely be back!!

My friends & I went parasailing with Jeb & Preston for our first time.. and had the best time ever!!! They both made the experience especially comfortable, fun & safe. Would definitely recommend going with these two if you’re a first timer!

This was the most amazing experience of my life. I went with 8 of my friends and we were all able to go parasailing together. Jeb and Preston, the guys in charge, made us all feel safe and comfortable. Some of my friends who were super nervous even tried it and had an amazing time. Jeb got such cool photos of everyone and it was the best experience anyone could ask for. If I had a choice I would have gone up 1000 more times because of how much fun I had. The experience was an 100/10 and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

8 friends and I went on a trip with Preston and Jeb and it was AMAZING!! We were all scared but all ended up flying and had a great time. They both did an amazing job making us feel safe and comfortable. They also showed us a great time! We definitely want to try and go again.

We had a fantastic time. Great staff. The parasailing was a perfect experience, it was our first time. Enjoyed so much- we will be back.

How high do you go when parasailing?

Either 600’ or 800’ and price is determined by your choice. Keep in mind this is rope length and not necessarily true height as there are other factors that affect that (wind, boat speed, weight of flyers etc....)
If two adults are doing the Safari Tour, it is worth the extra money to get two jet skis instead of a double?

That would be completely your decision to make. On a single jet ski there would be a driver and a passenger, vs two jet skis where you could both drive your own jet ski. It's completely up to you!

I don't believe Tidalwave Watersports offered kayaking on the ocean, but they did offer kayaking all around the Isle of Palms via; inland water ways and coves. The ocean is pretty rough, why not keep it simple and have some fun, stay on the inland water ways and enjoy the scenery.
I was not aware that the instructors work for tips although our son mentioned this half way home. Can you confirm that the rental fee does not include the instructor led tour - feeling bad about not thinking to tip... :(

my family and I have never rented jet skis before. this might sound dumb but do tidalwave sports have a stand on the beach or would you need a truck and equipment to get it there, load and unload yourself?

Tidalwave Sports is located at the Isle of Palms Marina. All you need is to get yourselves there and you are good to go.
