We have been visiting Crescent Beach for over 20 years. It is a great area in North Myrtle Beach, safe and clean. There are several public beach access sites , some with bathrooms, areas to wash sand off, walkways over the dunes to the sand and golf cart parking. While the golf cart parking is usually full depending on when you come, you will need to pay to park it if you don’t have county registration and stickers for it. The beach is spacious and wide, they offer chairs and umbrellas for rent because there are no tents allowed nor any other shading devices other than umbrellas. Pets are not allowed on beaches during summer months except before 9 am and after 5 pm. There are lifeguards on duty most of the time during the summer. There are also nearby beach activities like parasailing and banana boats, beach stores, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Beautiful area to enjoy the Atlantic Ocean. The sunshine requires sun shade. The Atlantic Ocean is great to just sit and watch the waves come in and out or even walk in.

My wife and I spent a week at the end of October into November at one of the condominiums. The weather was absolutely perfect. It warmed up and the highs were in the 70's. The beach was not crowded at all. I don't think that I would want to stay here during the summer, but the beach in the fall is wonderful.

The condos make the beach a bit more populated than Cherry Grove but we didn't feel crowded. There are beach rentals, activities for sale (para sailing, banana boat, etc.).

This beach is very wide and has lifeguards. There is public access parking and access throughout the beach in multiple locations.

I love this part of North Myrtle Beach! Especially going towards Cherry Grove area! The beach area is nice and is not overcrowded with hotels and resorts.

This is a nice beach. Not overly crowded. Lots of shells. Short walk to the water. Depending on what section you visit, there are shops and snacks.

Spent our anniversary at Crescent right on the ocean! Such a beautiful beach within walking distance to so many things. Only a few blocks from Highway 17. We felt totally away from the hustle and bustle of the busy beach traffic but we were only 3 blocks from the main highway. Really enjoyed walking through the neighbor hoods around Crescent Beach.

Very beautiful beach. No trash. Friendly life guards and most people were social distancing. We spent every morning on beach. I dont want to go home.

We drove south to this beach to enjoy warmer water than NJ shore where it is still too cold for in June/July.
The beach is clean; the water is pretty clean and warm
If you have small children it is a great beach particularly at low tide as pools of water allow for them to play.
Many families here; quieter than some other places
People are distancing although not many are wearing masks.

We are staying at Crescent Keys for the first time. Just curious if you can rent umbrellas and beach chairs there and have them set up and ready to use. Thanks for any and all info!

You can rent chairs and umbrellas weekly that will be set up for you each morning. We've used North Strand Beach Service in the past as well. They do not set up daily, but we've found that it's more inexpensive than using the daily life guard service through NMB. You can also rent corn hole boards, bikes, etc. with North Strand. Enjoy Cresent Keyes - we've stayed there and have enjoyed it!

I haven't stayed at Carolina Dunes before.so I'm not sure. I like the Crescent Beach section . I think most of North Myrtle isn't that noisy but if you stay at Baywatch except music to be playing outside.. The last time we stayed there it was very loud( which was a few years ago). I believe you would enjoy Crescent Beach Hope this helps some. Enjoy your vacation😊

My family and I will be staying at Baywatch Resort in North Myrtle Beach. This is the first time we are staying in North Myrtle and are curious if there are lifeguards there? The address is 2701 S Myrtle Beach. Also, we would like to take our kids fishing. Any recommendations where we can rent rods and fish?

There have been life guards all the time when we visit. I would think you could rent fishing gear at one of the piers.
