We had a great time on the UTV excursion and all the staff were very professional and friendly. Our trail guide Ethan was very informative on the trails and did a great job!

Great experience for first timers. Will definitely be doing this again. The owner was extremely friendly, took the time to get to know everyone and make sure everyone was comfortable, understood safety measures, and overall handled his clients very well. The mountain is perfect, they designed it well with many steep uphills, rocks, downhills and mud puddles. The scenery is absolutely amazing. Logan our guide was excellent. Took the time to show us how to use the UTV (first timers), and went with our pace. Pushed us to challenge ourselves more and we certainly stepped up to the challenge! He gave us good tips and plenty of time to adjust and feel comfortable. Paid extra attention to our safety. Took amazing videos as we went through the mud puddles. The location is quite far from Asheville NC where we stayed, it was a good 2 hour drive. The highway part is fine but the winding roads made us all quite dizzy by the time we arrived. Well worth it though in the end. We did the 1 1/4 hr adventure and it was awesome and plenty because it was all uphills and downhills and not boring drives on flatland.

We ziplined today in Elizabethton. Great experience. Our 8 year old granddaughter loved it!! The staff Eli, Ryan, Hannah, Jack, Megan, Alissa, and Noah were awesome! The experience was not only thrilling and fun, but we felt safe and in great hands with these awesome folks. Would highly recommend. Great place to take grandchildren!

Off the Grid UTV Mountain Adventures was just as it was advertised! My wife and I had great fun and an enjoyable adventure in our 2 seater Polaris Razor. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed an exciting ride up inclines, down declines and around hair pin turns groomed mountain trails to the top of the mountain and back ( it does have dust, mud, rocks and roots). We rode with numerous families (including small children). Safety was emphasized from the first moment we arrived until the ride was over. **Come prepared to get dirty and/or muddy depending on the weather**. They actually have the rides in the snow, I bet that is beautiful and just as challenging. The process of the reservation and arrival was smooth and easy. All the staff were courteous and professional. Our skillful guide, ALEX, was top notch and a very nice young man. I highly recommend this company and experience to anyone. The smiles, laughter and stories of the at the end of the ride were priceless. THANKS FOR A GREAT TIME!!! Joe & Nancy, S.C.

We had a fun experience. This was our first time doing an UTV outing, but they explained everything very well. Yes, plan to get muddy and dusty. Our guide, Alex did a great job!

We've recently finished a really great fun ATV experience with OffThe Grid going all over a mountain in a Razor side-by-side. Our guide Noah is a excellent young man and a very proper guide for this activity. My thanks to him for guiding us in a fun yet challenging adventure ride. The process of reserving a spot , confirming the reservation and finding the location went perfectly. I gladly highly recommend to you this ATV experience.

Noah was a terrific guide on our UTV adventure up the mountain. Lots of steep inclines, declines, hair pin turns, rocky rubble, mud and dust. You will NOT be disappointed! Getting to the top - the panoramic scenery is stunning! We will go again for sure! Thanks for a great time!

We rented two kayaks. Tony got us all the gear we needed. She gave us hints on the coolest things to see. She was extremely personable and helpful. The lake is AMAZING!!! Clean and clear! We went on a Wednesday, not a lot of boat traffic. Very relaxing trip.

We’ve been here several times and it’s never let us down. As kayakers, we’ve found this huge lake, in the midst of the Cherokee National Forest, a gem of beauty. Off The Grid has been so accommodating, friendly and enthusiastic, wanting us to enjoy our experience. They are laid back and want people to enjoy the experience of nature. I can’t say enough for them, with some hesitation, as I selfishly don’t want the secret out about this very special place.

I was in the area for a paramotor fly in at Johnson County Airport and came to the lake one day when it was raining. I saw this company and found out they were having a SUP yoga class on Saturday. I went and I have to say it was fabulous! The teacher was amazing and the class was so much fun...they also have drum fitness classes. I wish I could’ve gone but couldn’t make it...definitely go check them out!
